Manchester United transfer news: Rio wants £270 million duo at Old Trafford next season

Rio Ferdinand wants Tottenham talisman Harry Kane and Borussia Dortmund teenager Jadon Sancho at Old Trafford next season.

Despite spending some serious money during the last couple of transfer windows, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer failed to delve into that transfer kitty to land a world class striker and top-class winger that could lead this United attack back to the very top.

That has led to alot of speculation in the media suggesting that United may make some summer moves to try and bring both Kane and Sancho to Old Trafford, as both are considering their futures at their respective clubs.

Sancho is regarded as the finest talent in the game, and recent reports suggested that United ARE IN TALKS WITH DORTMUND, about a possible £120 million deal. While Kane is fed up of not winning trophies and is reportedly ready tp kac his bags at the end of the season in hope that he can actually win something in the game.

And despite admitting that he would like to see both players arrive in the summer, Ferdinand has also admitted that it it will be difficult to get either player: “Would I take Harry Kane now? Of course you would,” Ferdinand said on Instagram Live.

“This geezer scores goals but I don’t see Tottenham letting Harry Kane go. And with Jose Mourinho there, I don’t see Mourinho letting him go to Manchester United.

“I would take Jadon Sancho all day… whether we’ll get him, though. Great player, great potential, English, he’s brilliant.”

Look, United certainly have the money to complete both of these deals in the summer, and fans would love to see that happen. But will the board really give 3150 million to sign Kane and £120 million to sign Sancho?
