Palmeiras coach Abel Ferreria has opened up and admitted that Messinho is a player unlike anything he has ever seen.

Nobody knows if Mauricio Pochettino will still be the boss of CHELSEA by the end of the summer window – but that is not stopping Ted Boehly and CO. from getting the players that they feel could develop into one of the best in the world.

Now it seems that they are closing in on a potential deal for the young man if you believe the words of Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano

The Blues have reached a verbal accord with the 17-year-old, according to Fabrizio Romano, and he will make the move to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2025

Ferreria was asked about the transfer rumors and made it clear he wants to keep hold of the starlet, as Messinho is like a player that he has never seen before: “Speaking of Estevao, I am not going to say what I think, I am going to ask Leila – the president of Palmeiras – not to sell to this player,” he said.

“The father, the manager and him will be sad. That he stays with us until 2027. I really think this player is unlike anything I have ever seen. A boy who defends, attacks, shows himself in the game.”

He has been developing nicely at Palmeiras and playing on a regular basis – he may not be moving to Chelsea until the summer of 2025 – but he will still not be ready.

CHELSEA should use this money and sign players that are a bit more established in the game and that can make an immediate impact – this is just another decision from the board that will not do Pochettino any good.

If he does come to Europe – it could be a massive mistake as he will just not be able to cope with the pressures of the English game – and we dont want to see all that.
