Pochettino CONFIRMS Chelsea announcement soon – Blues board wrapping up striker deal!

Chelsea forward David Datro Fofana is on his way to the UK with his representative ahead of finalising a straight loan move to Burnley.

CHELSEA recalled Fofana from his loan at Bundesliga club Union Berlin earlier this week after he failed to make any real impression at the Bundesliga side and although Sevilla also made a formal offer, The Blues wanted him to stay in the Premier League.

And that allowed Burnley to make contact with Chelsea and make an offer that Chelsea have been impressed with and the fact that Chelsea felt staying in the Premier League was better for the 21-year-old’s development, a deal has been struck.

And ahead of an official announcement – Pochettino has been speaking on Fofana’s loan move to Burnley:“The club is dealing with this situation and we will announce when things happen.

“I cannot say [if it is Burnley] at the moment, it’s rumours.”

Fofana is a very good young striker that did not need to make the move to Chelsea – he is just being loaned out all over the place. But Burnley have got themselves a man that can score goals.

He may not be really to lead that CHELSEA attack just yet – but Sevilla wanted him and so did a few other clubs – so this is a very good bit of business for the Premier League strugglers.

If Fofana is determined to make his mark on the Premier League – he could keep Vincent Kompany in a job – as we said – he is a very good goal-scorer – and that is what Burnley need.
