Chelsea looking to sign £85M star ‘in next few days’ – Italian announces
Chelsea is hoping to sign Leicester ace Wesley Fofana in the “next few days” – it has been claimed in the media
The start of the new Premier League season is just around the corner – and Chelsea have still not been able to do the transfer business that they had hoped for this summer
Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Slonina and Kalidou Koulibaly are the only three players that has arrived this summer – although the young American is not ready for the first tea, just yet
Thomas Tuchel knows that he needs to add a couple more defenders to the side over the next few weeks – and that has led to many rumours in the media that the club are very interested in a deal for Fofana
Leicester have set an asking price of a fee in the region of £80m to £85m – as they do not want to lose the player this summer – although it is claimed that Chelsea are ‘progressing well’ in their attempts to sign the 21-year-old
Now – Italian Guru Fabrizio Romano has opened up on his possible move to ChelseaFC this summer, he told GiveMeSport: Fofana, at the moment, is the player they want to sign in the next few days, so let’s see if they will submit an official proposal.”

Fofana is one of the most gifted young defenders in the Premier League and is certainly a player that could develop into a real class act – but he is not worth £85 million
So, if ChelseaFC do manage to sign the lad- they need to make sure that they get him for the right price as he is not worth double what they paid for Kalidou Koulibaly
But as we said – he is a player for the future and could be a great signing for the right price
