Frenchman confirms interest in Chelsea move – President admits Chelsea talks – German tells star to make move
Here is a roundup of the Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed –
Antonio Rudiger has admitted that he would like CHELSEA star Kai Havertz to join him at Real Madrid.
Chelsea are one of the best sides in the game – there is no doubt about that and have some world class players – but the one thing that they are missing is a world class striker.
Graham Potter and Frank Lampard currently used Kai Havertz as his top man – and he does ok at times – but he is not a natural goal-scorer that can hold the ball up etc – and struggled last season,
He has been linked with a move away from west London after another frustrating season in which he scored just seven goals in 35 Premier League games.
And despite Havertz’s struggles at Chelsea, Real Madrid are expected to launch a summer move for the German, with Carlo Ancelotti keen to welcome him to the Bernabeu.
Now – amid all the speculation – former Blues star Antonio Rudiger has admitted that he would like to see Havertz join him at Madrid – he told AS: “I would be happy to play with Havertz again at club level.
“Unfortunately, I can not say much about it because, on the subject of transfers, my word is secondary. It’s the club’s decision.”

Look – if Pochettino can play Havertz in his preferred position – he will be a big player for CHELSEA.
We would not be shocked to see Havertz ask for a move to Madrid – it is a big move – but we are sure that he will stay at Chelsea this summer – they do not need to sell just yet.
So even though Rudiger would like to see him make the move to the Bernabeu – it will not happen
President reveals Lukaku talks –
Inter president Steven Zhang claims the club are yet to hold talks with CHELSEA over a permanent deal for Romelu Lukaku, but has suggested conversations are on the way.
Lukaku was a massive flop for Chelsea last season and the Blues decided to send him back to Italian football with Inter Milan – despite the fact they didnt have an adequate replacement.
But Lukaku has no desire to make a return to Chelsea during the summer window and instead would like to stay with the Italian giants – who in return – are open to keeping him again for another season.
He has made it clear during his last stint with the Blues that he would prefer to be playing for Inter Milan and it appears that his attitude has not changed,
The Belgium international has struggled with injuries this season but still managed to end the campaign with 14 goals in all competitions.
Zhang, however, has indicated that Inter will attempt to work out a deal with Chelsea this summer
‘He [Lukaku] has shown to be a great forward for Inter, he’s an extraordinary guy,’ Zhang said after Inter’s defeat.
‘He’s under contract at Chelsea, so we’ll have to wait and speak with them to understand his situation.
‘There are many positive things to reflect on this season, it needs to be a starting point to continue our growth day after day.
‘Coming here and playing as we did in this final is something that will live long in the memory.’

Lukaku is done in the Premier League and that is why CHELSEA should allow him to leave.
He clearly does not want to be at Chelsea so there is no point in keeping him
Meslier admits Chelsea interest –
Illan Meslier is interested to join CHELSEA next season but with the condition that the French goalkeeper will be awarded the starting position.
Incoming boss Mauricio Pochettino is not even at the club yet but there has been alot of speculation in the media that the former Tottenham boss is keen to improve areas of the squad that are a concern.
The goalkeeper, midfield area and a new striker are on the agenda for the Argentine boss – and Meslier is a man that has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge over the next few months
The French goalkeeper had a staggering season but failed to help Leeds United from going down to the Championship.
Since then the Blues are monitoring his situation with Chelsea tipped to make a £30m swoop for the young goalkeeper. Although he would only agree to a transfer if his conditions are met.
Speaking to Foot Mercato, Meslier said: “If it is to go and be on the bench, I’m not interested in that.
‘If it’s to be the number one, of course, you can’t say ‘I’m not interested in Chelsea.’ I’d prefer to go to a less reputable club where I’ll have more game time than a top European club where I’d sit on the bench.”

Mesler proved himself to be a very good stopper in the Premier League and if he was playing for a side that could actually defend – he would be even better.
But he would not be considered number one at Chelsea – he is not better than Kepa or Edouard Mendy – he would be a bench warmer.
So we cant see this move happening on that basis.
