Liverpool have been backed to complete a transfer deal for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.

Now – amid all the speculation – Paul Robinson has come out and claimed that Liverpool have a very good chance of completing a deal for the midfielder.
Robinson told Football Insider: “Players of Mount’s ilk do not come around very often.
“Look, Chelsea will be desperate to keep hold of him so they will struggle to get him. There is also an emotional connection between the player and Chelsea.
“Realistically, can I see it happening? No. Would it benefit Liverpool? Yes, hugely.
“Financially it would have to be a big offer, even if he gets into the last 12 months of his contract. Chelsea will fight tooth and nail to keep him. It would take a huge fee.”
