Italians confirms Chelsea ‘desperate’ to get deal done for £300k-a-week star

Rudy Galetti has claimed that Chelsea are desperate to get Romelu Lukaku off their books this summer.

Lukaku was a massive flop for Chelsea last season and the Blues decided to send him back to Italian football with Inter Milan – despite the fact they didnt have an adequate replacement.

But Lukaku has no desire to make a return to Chelsea during the summer window and instead would like to stay with the Italian giants – who in return – are open to keeping him again for another season.

He has made it clear during his last stint with the Blues that he would prefer to be playing for Inter Milan and it appears that his attitude has not changed,

The Belgium international has struggled with injuries this season but still managed to end the campaign with 14 goals in all competitions.

Now – Galetti says Chelsea are desperate to get rid of Lukaku, who has rejected Al-Hilal’s latest proposal, according to the journalist.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, he said: “CHELSEA want to sell Lukaku and this is absolutely clear. Al-Hilal are still pushing and some days ago, they sent a new offer to the Belgian striker.

“At the moment, nothing has changed in his mind. He has no intention of joining the Saudi club and has already rejected all of their approaches.”

This is one of those transfers that CHELSEA need to do at all costs – the powerhouse is done at the club and should not be brought back.

The Blues wont get top money for the man – so they should take what they can get – it really is a case of the club will be better off without the man
