Brilliant £33m star breaks silence and sends message to Chelsea fans after COMPLETING late move!
Conor Gallagher has sent a message to the Chelsea fans after it was confirmed that he has now left the club and joined Spanish giants Atletico Madrid on a long-term deal with the Spanish giants.
Gallagher enjoyed a good season under Mauricio Pochettino last season and become an established member of the squad, even captaining the side on a number of occasions and earning himself a seat on that plane for England at the Euros.
But CHELSEA decided to sell the England star after continuing their incredible spending spree this summer, signing the likes of Pedro Neto, Tosin Adarabioyo, Omari Kellyman and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
And after sealing his move to Madrid – Gallagher has broken his silence and sent a message to the Blues fans: ‘To everyone at Chelsea, thank you for making my dreams come true,’ Gallagher said on Instagram.
‘It’s been an absolute honor every time I put on the shirt, and it was a dream come true to captain the team on many occasions. I loved every moment.
‘These memories will last forever. I appreciate all the love and support from the fans. Hearing the chant of my name at the Bridge is a special feeling, and the banner you displayed meant the world to me.
‘Thank you for everything. I wish the club all the best for the future, and I hope to see you all soon at Stamford Bridge! Conor.’

There are alot of CHELSEA fans who believe that Gallagher should have been kept this summer – he has done nothing wrong – he was a solid player for the club that is for sure.
But to get the chance to play for one of the biggest sides in La Liga under Diego Simeone is a massive chance for the man and one that we are sure he will enjoy.
