Spaniard will be brilliant Reds signing – £50m man wants move – Liverpool told target ‘can join anyone’
Gavi to be brilliant signing – Luiz to leave Aston villa – Bellingham message sent in Liverpool news roundup –
Barcelona midfielder Gavi would be a “brilliant” signing for Liverpool next year – Jurgen Klopp has been told
Gavi has made five appearances across all competitions, three of which have been starts -as he looks to establish himself at the Spanish giants
However – Jurgen Klopp is reportedly a massive fan of the player and is plotting to make a move next summer – or even in January if he picks up any more injuries over the next few months
He has entered the final 12 months of his contract at the Nou Camp and there is no deal close yet – although the Spaniards have admitted that there is a contract proposal on the table for the Spaniards
But amidst all the speculation -Kevin Campbell has come out and told Jurgen Klopp that Gavi would be a brilliant signing for Liverpool
When asked by Football Insider – Campbell said: “Gavi is a really good young player.
“He is technically gifted and knows where the back of the net is. If he comes onto the market there will be quite a few clubs coveting him.
‘He is a brilliant player and is one who would definitely improve that Liverpool team. He could be at the club for five to 10 years as well.
“I would expect Liverpool to be knocking on the door if he was to become available.”

The longer Gavi does not sign a new deal at Barcelona – the more chance of Liverpool getting a deal done. But considering he is a big part of the plans under Xavi – we cannot see him moving anytime soon
Bellingham message sent –
Owen Hargreaves believes Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham can go “wherever he wants” as Liverpool want the player
Bellingham was the subject of interest from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, but Dortmund made it clear they wouldn’t entertain any sale for one of their most impressive performers
However – it is widely believed that all the big clubs will be eyeing up a possible deal for Bellingham during the January window – rather than getting into a big time summer battle next summer
Former England international Hargreaves discussed why he is “one of a kind” as top European clubs will battle it out for the 19-year-old next summer.
“He can go wherever he wants,” said Hargreaves on BT Sport.
“You see now the young French boys they went to Real Madrid, that’s where everyone wants to go Real Madrid or Barcelona because everyone wants to play with attacking football. This kid is one of a kind.
“Everyone’s going to want him, Chelsea, Man United, Liverpool. He’s got to decide.
“To turn around a club like Manchester United and get them back to the top, I think he could carry that burden. I think the young man – he’s not a defensive midfielder [or] a 10, he’s just between in an eight.
“He’s smart, his weight of pass is good. His greatest attribute is his mentality, he loves football, he cares, got big shoulders, he’s the perfect midfield player.”

Liverpool really missed out on the signing of Bellingham in the summer – he would have been a world class signing for the club – especially as they are dealing with some serious issues
But the fact he wants to come to the Premier League suggests that Liverpool are leading the chase – but the Reds will need to open that chequebook to get a deal done for the lad
Luiz on the move –
Aston Villa ace and Liverpool summer target Douglas Luiz will leave Villa Park as a free agent next summer.
Liverpool had an amazing season last year and almost won every trophy that they were looking for – so Jurgen Klopp didnt need to sign too many players to improve the squad
However – a number of injuries at the start of the season has left his side looking nothing like the Champions they have shown over the seasons – and he may need to delve into that transfer kitty in the January window
And that has led to reports that they could make a move for Douglas Luiz – a player that they were interested in over the summer window
What is the latest?
Despite being happy to stay at the Midlands this term, UOL report the Brazil international has already decided to leave Steven Gerrard’s side when his deal expires in 2023.
And the 24-year-old is eager to extend his Premier League tenure – leading to alot of interest from the big clubs

Liverpool were linked with Luiz all season – they have every chance to get him away from Villa – so why wait until the very last day of transfer season?
It doesnt matter right now as the Reds have started the new season very poorly- but fans will surely wonder if Luiz would have made an impact like everyone else that was signed – and could have helped the club.
We would not be surprised to see Liverpool make a move for the man in the January window rather than wait to sign him for free at the end of the season
