Top Arsenal target has said ‘YES’ to Premier League move after 26-goal season!
Feyenoord sensation and Arsenal target Santiago Gimenez has said ‘yes’ to a move to the Premier League in the summer it has been claimed
It has been no secret in the media over the past few months that ARSENAL FC are in need of adding a striker to that attack that has the ability to score goals on a weekly basis.
Gabriel Jesus can be brilliant – but he is far too inconsistent to be the main man at the Emirates, while Eddie Nketiah is still learning his trade and is not yet ready to be the top guy at the club.
That has led to all sorts of speculation about who the Gunners could buy and Gimenez is a name that has been mentioned over the past few days after an impressive season for the Dutch side.
Reports from his native Mexico claim that the likes of Arsenal are favourites to sign him, despite ex-Feyenoord boss Arne Slot being keen on a reuinion at Liverpool, as the Gimenez, 23, prefers a move to London and the Premier League, having already snubbed AC Milan after 26-goal season
And it has been claimed that a few of just £38 million may be enough to get him all signed up.
He is ready for a move to the Emirates according to reporter Iomie Stanley, he told IcFootballnews: ‘The young man is a serious talent – he is a goal-scorer and would offer Mikel Arteta something different in attack.
‘We all know that ARSENAL are one striker away from dominating the Premier League – they have been that good this season – but adding Gimenez would get Man City even more worried.
‘If Arsenal get Gimenez – he will be a very good signing and he is ready for a massive club like the Gunners, i believe.’
