Goal-machine told ‘he needs to leave the mess’ with Chelsea keen on statement signing
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher says CHELSEA target Kylian Mbappe must leave the “mess” at Paris St-Germain after the French side were beaten in the Champions League last-16 by Bayern Munich.
Mbappe is easily one of the most dangerous players in the world right now and a man that will eventually become the best player in the game – especially with Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi right at the back-end of their careers.
But despite the fact he has a massive contract at PSG – Their latest failings in the Champions League has led to more speculation that he could leave the French giants at the end of the season and test himself in the Premier League or La Liga.
PSG’s search for Champions League glory continues to fall short and Carragher says that their inability to play as a team is the problem, and that he may now need to leave the French giants

“I’m delighted PSG have gone out,” he told CBS. “I just don’t like the whole set up, everything about it. It’s not a team, it’s just a mess.
“Five years out of seven they’ve gone out in the last-16, they’ve spent more money than anyone, they’ve got the best players in the world… and it’s brilliant because it just tells you how important it is to be a team.
“I think that’s really important in football. We love individuals within a team but that’s not a team. Kylian Mbappe has got to leave that club.”

PSG are a massive club – there is no doubt about that, but if Mbappe wants to become the biggest player in the game then he needs to join the likes of CHELSEA, Manchester City, Liverpool, Real Madrid or even Barcelona – he will never achieve his true potential in a League that is below the Bundesliga, Premier League and La Liga
