Agent flying in to complete Liverpool move – Klopp told to sign Brazilian – Gravenberch update
Here is a roundup of the top Liverpool news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed –
Italian football Journalist Fabrizio Romano has given an update on the future of Liverpool target Ryan Gravenberch.
Liverpool have been one of the best sides in world football for the last few seasons – but they have looked nothing like the side that could pretty much win every game that they play.
That has led to some rumours in the media that Liverpool are ready to battle the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United for the services of Gravenberch – who could cost some serious money.
Now – amid the speculation – Romano has given an update on the Bayerb Munich star: “The current situation of Ryan Gravenberch is one to watch,”the Italian transfer expert spoke on his personal YouTube channel.
“Bayern didn’t want, with the past board, to negotiate with any club for Gravenberch. They told Gravenberch ‘let’s meet at the end of the season in June and discuss the future’ because LIVERPOOL are interested but also other English clubs like Manchester United and Arsenal.
“But Bayern message was very clear – we don’t want to negotiate for Gravenberch, we will meet Gravenberch in June and communicate that he will be an important part of the squad next season.
“Now, what’s happening is there is a new board that will have to make a decision.”

We have seen LIVERPOOL sign players over the last few windows that have reignited their careers at Anfield- and that could be the perfect move for Gravenberch to make next.
He is not really a statement for the club – but he is a man that could come in and offer the Reds something different for their attack – which as looked nothing like the one that dominated just last season.
MAC ALLISTER DEAL CLOSE –
According to reports in Argentina, LIVERPOOL are nearing a deal to sign Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister.
There are still a few weeks left of the season to play out and Liverpool are still hoping to get back into those Champions League places in a bid to save their season.
But the transfer window will give Liverpool the chance to sign a few players that will freshen up the side, and Mac Allister is a man that is on the shopping list of Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
Now his father and agent said to have booked his flight to England next week to ‘accelerate and close’ the Anfield switch.
LIVERPOOL are believed to have agreed personal terms over a contract until 2028 with Mac Allister, but they are yet to enter formal negotiations with Brighton, who are set to demand £70m for the World Cup-winning playmaker.
🚨La llegada de Alexis Mac Allister a Liverpool entra en un momento clave: todo está muy avanzado y la semana próxima viajará su padre y agente a Inglaterra.

Amid all the speculation – Jose Enrique believes Alexis Mac Allister can come in and help LIVERPOOL star Trent Alexander-Arnold move back into his old role.
Speaking to SafeBettingSites: “I don’t understand why people are so obsessed with Trent in this position though. Arteta has done it with Oleksandr Zinchenko the whole season, Pep has done it with Cancelo before he went to Bayern Munich.
‘John Stones has also played as a midfielder coming in from his right back or centre back role.
“I like Trent there in that role when we have the ball because right now we don’t have a midfielder that can distribute the ball like Trent can. Alexis Mac Allister can do that if he comes here because he has that quality.
‘I think Trent and Kevin De Bruyne are the best right-footed players in the league and top two in the world.
“I like his role, but at the end of the day he is a right back. He has been the best for two or three years in that role. I like the vision he has but his position is a right back.’”
JOELINTON CLAIM MADE –
Liverpool have been urged to sign Newcastle United midfielder Joelinton in the summer window
Liverpool have not had the best of seasons and will look to delve into that transfer kitty to add players to the side that will freshen up the squad and help them get back to challenging for titles.
That has led to some stunning reports in the media which have claimed that Liverpool are very much interested in a deal to sign Mason Mount – who is yet to agree a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
However – former Liverpool star Hamann has urged his old club to forget about England international Mount and instead turn their attentions to Newcastle’s Joelinton.
The 26-year-old Brazilian has impressed under Eddie Howe, registering eight goals and three assists this term.
‘I would not pay the money that Chelsea want for Mason Mount,’ Hamann told Casinos En Ligne.
‘I think the players in midfield are very similar in their technical ability, Liverpool need a bit more of a physical presence.
‘Joelinton from Newcastle United has that physical presence that Liverpool needs, he can nick a goal too.
‘Alexis Mac Allister will be a brilliant signing, but they’ll have to battle Manchester City for his signature.
‘I can’t see Joelinton leaving Newcastle because he is playing Champions League football next season. But a player with his stature and physicality would be great in that Liverpool midfield.’

Joelinton has been very impressive this season – there is not doubt about that. But he is not good enough to be a regular starter in that Liverpool side, so signing him wouldnt make much of a difference to the side.
