Arsenal register Grealish interest, Arsenal open Nandez talks, Agent issues Ozil update, Jimenez move lined up in Arsenal news and gossip roundup…
Arsenal have reportedly registered their summer interest in Aston Villa star Jack Grealish.
Grealish has been in the headlines all season long, with his very impressive performances linking him with a mega money move to one of the Premier Leagues biggest clubs.
Arsenal have been among the clubs touted as suitors for Grealish, as Mikel Arteta knows that he needs to add something different to his midfield when that transfer window opens up next week.
And now Sky Sports claim that Arsenal are interested in a deal to try and sign the £60 million rated midfielder, who is also being chases by the likes of Manchester United, but have yet to follow up on that yet.

Amid all the speculation, Grealish recently opened up and admitted that he could not confirm he would be back in a Villa shirt at the start of next season.
“I’m not too sure at the moment,” he told Sky Sports following the win over Arsenal. “I have one aim and that’s to keep this club in the Premier League.
“This whole club, this whole stadium and fanbase knows where we belong. That’s all I’m thinking about at the moment, keeping this club in the Premier League. Hopefully we can do that on Sunday.”
He added: “It would mean everything to me [to keep Villa up],” Grealish said. “I think since we’ve been back, I probably haven’t been as effective as I was before.
“Truthfully, I haven’t felt as fit as I did before the break, but that’s no excuse. I just need to do what I know I can do.
“I’ve probably done it today. I was probably unlucky not to get an assist in the end.”
Reports have again claimed that Arsenal are lining up a move for Raul Jimenez if they lose one of their big strikers this summer.
Jimenez has become one of the most talked about players this season after another impressive campaign with Wolves, which he has shown his true ability and quality on that pitch on a weekly basis.
His performances this season has led to alot of speculation in the media about his next club, with the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal and Juventus have all been suggested as potential destinations for the 29-year-old who has scored 26 goals in all competitions this season.
The Midlands club face a battle to keep hold of their Mexican No9 when the transfer market reopens with plenty of clubs interested, but believed that they could keep hold of the striker after putting a massive £72 million price tag on his head.
But THE MIRROR report that the Gunners will go after the Mexican should Alexandre Lacazette or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leave the club this summer.
Aubameyang is a man that Arsenal do not want to lose, but he has failed to agree a new contract at the club meaning that Arsenal may have to sell in the summer or risk losing him for nothing in 12 months time.
And Lacazette is not happy with the game time that he has been receiving this season, with constant reports claiming that La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are ready to pay close to £50 million to take him to Spain this transfer window.
Arsenal are reportedly in talks with the agent of Nahitan Nandez but face competition for the Cagliari ace this summer window.
With Mikel Arteta ready top spend big over the next ten weeks of transfer season, it is widely believed that the club legend will try to delve into that transfer kitty and land a few new players.
He has already admitted that he is hoping to improve the squad in a number of areas of the next ten weeks of the transfer window, and has been linked with a whole load of top-class players, with Nandez now on the shopping list.
And Corriere dello Sport claim Nandez’s “attorney is working with” the Premier League heavy-hitters to “figure out if there is room for negotiation”.
Nandez joined Cagliari from Boca Juniors last summer but made an instant impression in Serie A and was courted by a number of Premier League clubs in January, but An immediate sale was ruled out.
However, the Uruguayan could be on the move again this summer with his agent reportedly approaching Arsenal about a possible transfer deal over the next ten weeks of the transfer window.
Look, Nandez is a very good midfielder that would add some serious depth to this Arsenal side, but we are sure that Arteta will look to improve the defence before wrapping up a deal for a new midfielder.
Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil is likely to remain at the Emirates Stadium, according to the player’s agent Erkut Sogut.]
Ozil is one of the Gunners biggest players and one of the best number tens in world football, when he is on top form. But he has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the past 12 months as his performances in an Arsenal shirt have not matched the wages he was given under Arsene Wenger.
It was no secret that Ozil was almost out-of-contract last February before Arsenal gave in and offered him a massive £350,000-a-week deal, especially as they literally just let Alexis Sanchez leave for Manchester United and did not want to lose another big named player.
But since then his performances have been inconsistent and he has been heavily criticised for his work-rate, even being dropped by current boss Mikel Arteta, who has barely used him this season.
That has led to speculation in the media suggesting that he will be sold by the club so they can use the funds to land one of their top transfer targets, but it seems that the German has other ideas.
Ozil’s agent, Erkut Sogut, insists his client will be staying at Arsenal beyond the European transfer window: “I do not think there will be a change in the case of Mesut Ozil until the summer of 2021,” Sogut told Turkish publication Fanatik.
“He has a contract. There is no change. He will remain in Arsenal.”
