Brighton star Leandro Trossard will be a fantastic signing for Arsenal – Reporter Iomie Stanley has claimed

Ever since moving to Brighton back in 2019 – Trossard has been one of the most impressive players for Brighton and a man that is attracting all sorts of interest

After Graham Potter departed the club for a move to Chelsea earlier in the season – it has been widely claimed that the Gunners will step up their attempts to get a deal done for the player and will make a move in the January window

And if you believe the words of Stanley – Trossard would be an ideal signing for Mikel Arteta

He told IcFootballnews: ‘Arteta has a brilliant starting eleven and a couple of players sitting on the bench – but injuries will be a major concern for the Spaniard.

‘a couple of injuries to the likes of Martinelli – Jesus – Odegaard or Saka and they could see their brilliant start to the new seasons get scuppered.

‘The January window is an ideal opportunity to sign some players that will make a difference – add something different to the side and Trossard is a man that would be a fantastic signing’

‘He has really shown his class this season – added goals to his game and is a real threat to any side in the Premier League – if Arsenal managed to sign him – he is ready to play for such a massive club’

The player himself recently opened up on all the transfer speculation surrounding his future and has failed to rule out possibly leaving Brighton in the coming windows

What has he said?

Trossard said: “It’s difficult to say anything about that now, it completely depends on which club would come. If I feel good and things are good on a private level… but I also know how good I am at Brighton, also with new coach Roberto De Zerbi it looks promising.

“I’m a little higher up the pitch now, which gives me more chances to score a goal. And the more chances you get, the more you can score.

“I think that’s the biggest difference from the last few years.”
