Brilliant attacker reveals if he will join Ruben Amorim at Man United
Sporting CP forward Viktor has finally revealed if he planning to reunite with Ruben Amorim at Manchester United in the January transfer window.
This season, he has already scored 23 goals for the Portuguese side, recently bagging a hat-trick against Manchester City in the Champions League and continuing to make a real name for himself at the Portuguese giants.
the likes of Arsenal, Man United and Chelsea are just three clubs that are reportedly ready to splash the cash and bring the in-demand striker to the Premier League, and it is looking much more likely that a transfer happens after the departure of Amorim.
Amorim’s agent Hasan Cetinkaya revealed in the summer that Gyokeres was only at Sporting because of Amorim, and now the incoming Red Devils boss has claimed that the striker may also decide to leave the Portuguese giants.
But despite the reports that he could make the move to Old Trafford, Speaking to Fotbollskanalen, Gyokeres said, “Joining Amorim at Man United? Probably he already has strikers there. It’s sad to see him leaving Sporting, but we understand his decision, of course.
‘He’s been key for me, Amorim gave me a chance helping me to develop.”

After Sporting CP thrashed Manchester City in the Champions League, the Portuguese coach told TNT Sports, “I can’t make fun of it, right now, it was hard for me to leave, if I start joking about this Gyokeres situation I’ll get in trouble.
‘This is my city, this is my country, so I’ll respect it. Viktor has to stay until the end of the season, and then his life maybe is going somewhere else.”
