Belgian Announces 36 Goal star ‘One of the best’ With Chelsea Keen On Deal

Roberto Martinez has hailed Chelsea fc target Victor Gyokeres as one of the best signings this season.

Gyokeres has scored 36 goals in 39 games for Sporting and is one of the form attacking players in European football this term, with many reports in the medcia suggesting that he could be sold in the coming transfer window.

Europe’s elite are queueing up to prise the Sweden international away from Lisbon after his stunning start to life with Sporting, and CHELSEA are one of the clubs that are desperate to delve into that transfer kitty and add a 30 goals a season forward to that attack

Gyokeres’ eye-watering €100m (£86m) release clause at Estadio Jose Alvalade has been well documented, but Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport indicate that Sporting could be prepared to agree a deal for half that price.

It remains to be seen if he will leave Sporting at the end of the season – but Martinez has opened up this week and claimed that Gyokeres is one of the best signings of the season for the Portuguese side.

‘For me, he was one of the best signings in the entire European market last summer,’ Martinez said of Gyokeres.

‘And it is fantastic for him to be playing in Portuguese football.’

The transfer window is many months away and there will be alot of rumours – but one thing is for certain – Gyokeres is a player that could add to that CHELSEA  attack – he is a real goal-machine right now.

He may be good enough for that Portuguese League – but he could really struggle to make the impact that he would like in the Premier League – it is another level.
