£130 million rated Erling Haaland opens up on immediate future as Manchester United links rumble on
Borussia Dortmund striker and Manchester United target Erling Haaland has dismissed the idea he could be set to leave the club just six months after joining.
Regarded as one of the finest talents in the game right now, Haaland is considered to be one of the men that go on to become a world class player and eventually challenge for that coveted best player on the planet tag.
His performances in the Bundesliga is keeping the teenager on the recruitment radar of many ambitious clubs, but he has no intention of contemplating another change of scenery any time soon.
However, despite all the speculation that he could leave the club in the summer, Haaland has opened up and dismissed the notion that he could leave Dortmund so soon after signing with the German giants.
“I live in the present,” he told German newspaper WAZ.
“I have just arrived in Dortmund and I’m not thinking of leaving for now. Dortmund are one of the biggest clubs in the world. I have signed a long-term contract and I don’t think too much about the future.
“I decide what is the best thing for my career here and now. I want to achieve something important with Borussia, not always be second, but also win the title as soon as possible.
“The next year we set targets, we want to score as many goals, and I as a striker want to contribute.”
Haaland does not need to move and unless a massive offer is made, Dortmund do not need to sell.
