Hammers free to sign midfielder – West Ham can hire world class boss – West Ham target makes transfer decision
Here is a roundup of the latest West Ham news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed from icfootballnews –
Mohamed Elneny has confirmed on social media that he will be leaving Arsenal at the end of the season, opening the door for West Ham.
Elneny has been a loyal servant for Arsenal over the past eight-and-a-half years. He helped them win the FA Cup in 2017 and was part of the sides that reached the finals of the League Cup a year later and the Europa League in 2019
However – his contract is up at the end of the season and with the club seeking to add some fresh players to the squad in the summer transfer window – he is a star that the club no longer need.
The news will give WEST HAM a chance to get a transfer deal done for the player that they have been chasing for the last couple of transfer windows – but were unable because he didnt want to leave Arsenal.
And he has posted on social media about his departure from the club and thanked the fans for all their support over the season – In a video message, he said: “Gunners. I am here today to send you a message to say goodbye and thank you for everything you have done for me.
‘The love, support, and kindness; I am going to miss you so much and you will be in my heart forever. I want to say how much I love you and how much you mean to me and I will never forget the way you supported me.
‘I am going to see you on Sunday at Emirates Stadium to say goodbye, face to face. See you, Gunners.”

Elneny has been a loyal servant for Arsenal over the seasons and he will surely be missed around the dressing room – but at this stage of his career – a move away is probably the best thing for him.
He could be a solid WEST HAM signing that is for sure.
ALLEGI UP FOR GRABS
Massimiliano Allegri has been sacked by Juventus with immediate effect, opening the door for West Ham to try and make a move.
David Moyes is departing the club at the end of the season after the decision was made to not sign a new dela with the club – meaning that the Hammers have been linked with some world class bosses, including Allegri.
The Italian giants beat Atalanta in the Coppa Italia but questions marks over Allegri’s future have been raised after some of his actions during and after the match.
Sky Sports Italy are reporting that Allegri’s behaviour was not in line with the “Juventus style” and are now considering the decision of an early dismissal.
The clubs CEO Maurizio Scanavino will make a decision after consulting with John Elkann and club lawyers after announcing that Allegri will leave the club with immediate effect.
A Juventus statement said: “Juventus has announced that the club has relieved Massimiliano Allegri from his role as the men’s first team coach.
“The dismissal follows certain actions during and after the Italian Cup final which the club deemed incompatible with Juventus’ values and those who represent the club must adopt.
“His period at the club – after it began in 2014, resumed in 2021 – ends after three years following the Coppa Italia final.
“The club wishes Allegri the best of luck in his future projects.”

WEST HAM need a boss that is proven at the game – that has on countless trophies and that could help take the club to that next level – Allegri could be a very good option.
He is a man that is one of the best in the game and despite getting the sack from Juventus – he could be a very good option to replace Moyes.
CHRISTENSEN DECISION MADE –
Former Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen is set to stay with Barcelona this summer, amid speculation West Ham are keen.
The 27-year-old, who made 161 appearances for Chelsea between 2014-2022, joined Barca on a free transfer 18 months ago after he decided that he wanted to leave the Blues and test himself with the Spanish giants.
He has been a relatively big part of that Barcelona side ever since his move and has even featured in over 20 La Liga games this season, but according to Spanish news outlet Sport, Barca have deemed the Denmark international as ‘an opportunity to generate income’.
It has been said that Manchester United, WEST HAM and Newcastle are the three clubs that have expressed an interest in the former Borussia Monchengladbach loan star.
But according to Sport, the Dane wants to stay in Catalonia and his intent is to stay with the club and snub any interest in his services

Over the last few transfer windows West Ham have proven themselves quite capable of landing some quality players and Christensen could be tempted to join the exciting project at the Hammers.
We are not saying that WEST HAM can definitely get the player – but there may be a chance for them to get Christensen for a bargain and add some more quality to that back-line, which has looked a bit dodgy at times this season.
We would not be shocked to see him staying at Barcelona – as he is happy – so if he is happy to keep the bench warm on a weekly basis – then that is his decision.
But he would be a regular starter at the Hammers.
