Toon told to sign £80m man – Newcastle submit offer for midfielder – Howe chance to sign Madrid star #nufc

Is Isak Premier League bound?

Newcastle submit offer for Harrison – Toon told to sign Isak – Newcastle get chance to sign Asensio in Newcastle news of the day –

Long-term Newcastle United target Marco Asensio had reportedly sacked his agent as he seeks to force a way out of Real Madrid this summer

Asensio has won three La Liga titles and three Champions League trophies during his time in Madrid but the winger started just 21 games across both competitions last season.

The Spanish international has a respectable record of ten goals and one assist to his credit this season – despite his limited game time under boss Carlo Ancelotti – and there has been more doubts about his future at the club

Madrid do appreciate just how talented the lad is, and he has been impressive at times, but he has not lived upto the expectations of the club and with Madrid looking to freshen up the side, he is a player that they will reportedly be willing to let go.

But with no transfer move away from the club agreed yet – he is said to have ditched his representatives to get a transfer over the line before deadline day.

He is into the final year of his Bernabeu contract and looks increasingly unlikely to pen an extension after allegedly rejecting a previous offer.

As reported by El Larguero, the playmaker – who used to be looked after by Horacio Gaggioli – made the decision in order to “find a way out” of Madrid.

It is thought that AC Milan have been in contact with Jorge Mendes – who could be dealing with Asensio’s potential switch – but Arsenal are also keeping a very close eye on proceedings

Look, there will surely be no doubt that more money will get spent in the transfer window

The Toon have always admired Asensio and if there is a chance to finally swoop in and offer him some sort of deal.

He has huge potential and under the right manager – he could flourish into a world class midfielder – and for the money that is being talked about – it could be a real bargain transfer for the club

Toon make Harrison bid –

Newcastle United have submitted a bid of around £18million for Leeds United winger Jack Harrison – it has been claimed

Over the past few seasons – Harrison has established himself as a very impressive performer in the Premier League and it is believed that Eddie Howe is keen on making sure that The Toon are the club that snap him up

It is no secret that Eddie Howe has not done the business that he would have liked this summer and is keen to make a few more by the end of the transfer window and Harrison is a player they want to spend some cash on

Leeds have a decision to make on whether to offload Harrison following an extensive summer signing spree – but according to the Football Insider – Newcastle have submitted an offer to sign Harrison

They have already sold star duo Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips to Barcelona and Man City – so are in no hurry to sell another one of their big players – especially as they know that they could get alot more money out the mega rich Newcastle

And amid all the speculation – Robinson has opened up and claimed that he would be a huge signing for the club – he said: “Harrison is such a versatile player.

“He can play left-back, left wing-back and anywhere across the three behind the central striker. I just think he is a top player.

“He is one Leeds cannot afford to lose. He would be a huge signing for Newcastle.

“They would have to get rid of a few players first because their squad is already too big. It is something they need to really look at and address. You cannot just keep bringing players in and putting other players in the under-23s.

“They are stockpiling players. It is about getting quality players though.

“Jack Harrison is that next level of player. It is about bringing in the next level of player to take the club into the top six.”

Howe told to sign Isak –

Kevin Campbell has insisted Newcastle United should splash out on Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak

There was big expectation that Newcastle would make some statement signings this transfer window in order to send a message to the rest of the Premier League – but so far – they have not excited the Premier League

Newcastle’s current striker options are Callum Wilson, Chris Wood and Dwight Gayle and it is believed that Eddie Howe wants to add a forward to the attack that will score more goals on a weekly basis – and that has led to reports they have been in contact over a deal for Isak

The 22-year-old attacker scored six goals in 32 La Liga appearances during 2021-22 – but has been tipped to become one of the best strikers in Europe – despite his limited goals so far in his career

Now – amid all the speculation – Campbell has encouraged the Toon to splash the cash and try to secure the transfer signing of Isak

When asked by Football Insider is Isak was worth forking out for, Campbell said: “I think he is.

“He is a really good player. He is a really good all-round player.

“I’d say like to say Newcastle don’t have to go out and buy a striker this summer but Callum Wilson really struggled with injury last season. He really struggled.

“When he came back he proved that he is a handful for any defence. He showed what he can do. The best ability is availability. Wilson just hasn’t been available enough.

“I could see them doing the Isak deal.

“One thing he will do is lead the line brilliantly. Isak is a great all-rounder.

“He will score goals at Newcastle. I don’t think he’d be prolific but I think he’d get into double figures, considering the players they have in attack.”
