Ten Hag has been told to sign world class player valued at close to £200M

Tottenham, Kane
will Kane finally leave Spurs?

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has encouraged Erik Ten Hag to try and bring Tottenham striker Harry Kane to Man United this summer

Hasselbaink expects Ten Hag to bring success back to Man United but says the rebuilding job will ‘not be a quick fix’ and he will need a few signings to help the club get back into the habit of playing at the highest level of the game

Kane is a man that Man United have been linked with for many seasons – but they have not been able to sign him as Daniel Levy will demand a massive fee for the man – close to that £200 million makr.

Hasselbaink believes Kane should leave Spurs if he has ambitions to win major trophies and says United should be looking to secure his signature, along with his England teammate Bellingham.

‘If you’re talking about the League Cup or the FA Cup, Harry Kane may have a chance at Tottenham, but if you’re talking about the Premier League and the Champions League, then he needs to move,’ he told Prime Slots.

‘You can see that Antonio Conte is getting frustrated with recruitment, both adding and selling players, so if he doesn’t continue in his role as manager, then Kane doesn’t have a chance and he will definitely need to leave.

‘I don’t know if he [Ten Hag] will, but if I was Man United, and I was reconstructing the squad, he would be one that I would buy”

There was ever a player that would bring goals to the side it is Harry Kane – he really is one of the very best strikers on the planet and a man that would help close the gap on Man City and Liverpool

Will they pay big money to get a deal done? Does Harry Kane see them as a step up? right now Man United are below Spurs – so a move there not make sense
