Exciting Chelsea target Kai Havertz is ready to play for Real Madrid, according to former Germany striker Oliver Bierhoff.
Regarded as one of the finest talents in the game right now, there has been alot of speculation in the media which has suggested that Chelsea have now made him transfer target number one head of the summer window.
And With Leverkusen demanding €100 million (£90m/$112m) for Havertz, clubs like Madrid and Bayern Munich aren’t willing to move until next summer, but reports suggest that Chelsea may be ready to pay the big money, especially as they know that Havertz wants to leave this summer.
However, German legend Bierhoff has claimed that Havertz is now ready to play for Real Madrid
“He is a player for Real Madrid,” Bierhoff told Marca.
“He is a young player who has everything: great talent, technique, good physique. He is a very complete player and he will be very important for us [the German national team].”
‘Whether a move is in the offing, however, remains another question.
“I don’t know,” Bierhoff replied when asked where he thought Havertz would end up.
“But I want him to be in perfect shape for us.”
“I played almost my entire career outside of Germany and I think it’s a good thing to leave,” he said.
“You grow as a person. You become stronger, more mature, develop further.
“When you leave your comfort zone, you usually take a step forward.”
German football expert Raphael Honigstein thinks Leverkusen will not let Chelsea target Kai Havertz leave on the cheap this summer window.
Frank Lampard may have one of the most exciting and creative sides in the Premier League right now, but he will need to spend some money in the next couple of windows to improve the side in certain areas, especially with the likes of Willian and Pedro seemingly on their way out of the club.
And according to recent reports, Chelsea are now interested in trying to acquire the services of Havertz, who is easily regarded as one of the finest talents in the game and tipped to be one of the very best players around.
And earlier reports have revealed that owner Roman Abramovic will give the green light for the club to complete a deal for Havertz, but is not ready to pay that massive £90 million asking price that Leverkusen are reportedly seeking.
Now Honigstein thinks Leverkusen will not let Havertz leave on the cheap this summer window
“Well Chelsea are among a number of clubs who are interested in Kai Havertz, why wouldn’t they be?” Honigstein said on BILD
“They are talking to him of course but that is no different from literally everybody who is talking to him. It comes down to the sticking point which is Leverkusen’s valuation.
“They want nothing less than €100million plus, maybe €120m for a player who is worth the money.
“But the current market doesn’t find clubs necessarily ready to put that much money on the table.”
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has been told by former RB Leipzig coach Jesse Marsch that Timo Werner can play in multiple positions up front.
Werner signed from the German side last month for £54million after another stunning season in which he netted an impressive 34 goals for the German side, a goal-tally that has got many clubs worried in the Premier League.
And ahead of his move to London, Marsch, who now manages RB Salzburg, says that Werner will be able to play with Tammy Abraham, as well as with another forward in a front three if necessary.
“He likes to drift to the left and then come in with his right,” Marsch told the Bleacher Report Football Ranks podcast.
“He can drag the ball [out wide] and cross it or come across the goal as well.
“He’s also good at finishing crosses from the right side when he’s attacking in the box.
“But he’s also good in the middle and he’s good on the right, too.
“I think if you’re playing with two strikers, which is what we did often at Leipzig, we gave them freedom to move to the left.
“We built that in tactically so he could find ways to be on the move but dangerous.
“But he could play as a second striker, he could play on the right, he can play in a front three, he can play any of those positions.
Again, he will work against the ball, he will defend, he’ll work for the team.
“And the other thing that’s so special about Timo is that for a guy who sprints so much in a game, he’s always healthy.
“And that’s unusual, those sprinters that are so aggressive, they pick up a lot of soft-tissue muscle injuries.
“Timo has been incredibly fit and hopefully he can stay that way.”
Brentford winger Said Benrahma is already being congratulated on a summer move to Chelsea by one of his close friends.
Now the transfer window is just a few weeks away, but there has still be alot of transfer speculation in the media suggesting that Chelsea are lining up a number of possible targets.
Frank Lampard does not need to spend alot of money to improve his current side, but he needed to add another defender, midfielder and striker to the side in order to turn this Chelsea side from top four contenders to Premier League challengers.
He has already added a new midfielder an attacker to the squad, but there is a feeling that another winger and defender would be the ideal signings for the club, and the impressive Benrahma has been on the shopping list of the Chelsea boss.
Benrahma is a tricky wideman who has even been dubbed the ‘Algerian Messi’, and would be the immediate replacement for Willian or Pedro, who are both expected to depart the club when their current deals run out in the coming weeks.
And rumours about Benrahma’s switch to Stamford Bridge have now been fuelled by his friend, Fahd Moufi, who appeared to drop a major hint on Instagram.
During Benrahma’s Instagram live video, Moufi wrote: ‘Congratulations on Chelsea, my bro.’
Kai Havertz is ready to accelerate a big-money move to Chelsea with the Germany international handing in a transfer request at Bayer Leverkusen.
Havertz has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League over the past few months with reports the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder is wanted by the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United.
It is believed that Chelsea want the lad as they seek a long-term replacement for Eden Hazard, as they have failed to replace the Belgian since e left the club last summer, and are reportedly ready to pay that massive £87 million asking fee to get a transfer deal done.
Now, reports on the TalkSport website have claimed that Havertz is ready to accelerate a big-money move to Chelsea with the Germany international handing in a transfer request at Leverkusen.
Leverkusen know that Havertz still has a couple of seasons to run on his current deal at the club and do not need to sell in this transfer window, especially if clubs do not meet the required asking price.
But with reports claiming that Havertz is set on a dream move to the Premier League, he is reportedly ready to get things rolling by handing in a transfer request when the transfer window opens up.
