Chelsea have reportedly been offered Arsenal legend Aaron Ramsey or Adrien Rabiot in exchange for Jorginho by Juventus.
Chelsea have been in the transfer headlines for weeks now as they are seemingly linked with every player that is in Europe and not happy at their respective club, and it seems that they are at it again.
It is no secret that Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri is keen to raid his former club in the summer transfer window and land the services of Jorginho, who is reportedly disposable at the club.
Jorginho has been a regular in the Chelsea side under Lampard, but has constantly shown a desire to return to Italian football at the earliest opportunity, and the fact that he has barely featured in the Chelsea side since the re-start of the Premier League, has led to all sorts of speculation.
Now Tuttosport claims his Juventus side are currently in talks with Chelsea over a deal.
It states the Serie A giants want to pay a transfer fee in instalments due to the current financial crisis caused by the coronavirus.
But to sweeten the deal, they are willing to add either the 28-year-old Welshman or French midfielder, 25, as part of the package for Jorginho.
Rabiot, 25, joined Juventus on a free transfer after allowing his Paris Saint-Germain contract to expire in June 2019, but his move has not really worked out and the six-capped France international has completed just eight 90-minute Serie A fixtures this season.
Academy player Charlotte Fleming has signed her first professional contract with Chelsea FC Women, and she is delighted.
This season Fleming impressed for the Under-18s with her tenacious and energetic displays earning her a call-up to Emma Hayes’ squad, but she was plagued by injuries towards the back end of the season, which stopped her rising development.
However, that has not stopped the club from handing her the first big contract of her professional career, as she has officially signed up with the Chelsea, and the Academy graduate is delighted to put pen to paper ,she said: ‘It’s a bit surreal to be honest, it’s a dream for me and I’ve always aspired to be part of the women’s team.
‘It’s really exciting for me as a young player coming into this new world. I have got the most amazing support network around me from Chelsea to family and friends and it’s going to be an exciting year for me to see where my journey goes.’
‘My main aim is to show Emma [Hayes] and Paul [Green] how grateful I am for this opportunity,’ Fleming admitted.
‘To be honest I will just be a sponge and gain as much information as possible, learn as much as I can and develop – this year is all about development for me and being the best player I can be.’
Manager Hayes then opened up and admitted that he is also delighted with the deal for Fleming, she said: ‘Charlotte has come through our Academy and we are all proud of the steps she has made to earn her first contract.
‘She’s a fantastic person from a good family with a bright future ahead of her. We are all excited to see her career develop.’
Antonio Rudiger is eagerly attempting to persuade fellow German star Kai Havertz to join him at Chelsea.
Now there has been alot of transfer speculation in the media about the future of Havertz, and all you Chelsea fans know that he is seemingly the clubs top transfer target for the summer window.
Chelsea have already signed Timo Werner to add some more goals, they have already acquired Hakim Ziyech to add a bit more quality on the wings and they are seemingly seeking to add Havertz to the side that can do both.
His £90 million price tag may be the stumbling block to any potential deal this summer, but reports suggest that Chelsea believe they can get the German star for a smaller fee of around £70 million.
And Rudiger, who already played a key role in convincing Timo Werner to sign for the West London club, is up to his old tricks again as the German star is reportedly convincing Havertz to follow himself and Werner to Stamford Bridge.
Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk claims “agent Rudi is on a new mission”.
He added on Twitter: “True: @ToniRuediger is in contact with Havertz since a couple of weeks and tries to convince him.”
Chelsea are in advanced talks to sign Kai Havertz and have reportedly agreed a £7.1 million-a-season contract.
Lampard may have one of the most exciting and creative sides in the Premier League right now, but he will need to spend some money in the next couple of windows to improve the side in certain areas, especially with the likes of Willian and Pedro seemingly on their way out of the Chelsea.
Liverpool and Manchester United have been keen to make sure that they are the only two sides to challenge for the services of Havertz, who is easily regarded as one of the finest talents in the Bundesliga right now.
But it is Chelsea that are now leading the chase to sign the talented German star, who has netted an impressive 37-goals in the last few seasons for Leverkusen to become one of the most talked about players in the Bundesliga.
And according to reports on the SUN website, Blues chiefs have negotiated a five-year deal worth around £7.1million-a-year after holding talks with the player’s agent over the past few weeks.
One issue left to iron out is the asking price with Leverkusen demanding £90million for his signature, but Chelsea are reportedly not willing to pay that amount of money and are seeking to get that fee lowered in order to wrap up this deal.
The reports goes on to say, Boss Frank Lampard is hoping to get his deals concluded early following the arrivals of striker Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.
Look, if the reports are true and Chelsea have agreed a nice big contract with the players agent, then great, the announcement will follow soon and then Chelsea can start eyeing up a new defender to sign up.
But just like many other reports in the media, until an announcement is made, this is just another day of speculation linking the man to the Blues.
