‘I could finish career at Chelsea’ £200 million superstar Hazard makes stunning announcement!

Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard has dropped a massive hint that he could sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard has once again been in the headlines over the last few weeks with rumours about his possible departure to Spanish giants Real Madrid, with many media outlets all suggesting that this is his final season in the Premier League.

But earlier this week Chairman Bruce Buck came out and admitted that they were looking to keep hold of the superstar for the foreseeable future and were looking to ‘entice’ the £200 million rated superstar into signing a new five-year contract, with many believing Chelsea had no chance of agreeing new terms with Hazard.

However, that is not the case anymore as Hazard has come out and admitted ‘that it would not be a problem’ if he did leave the club and sign for Madrid, but he could actually stay at Stamford Bridge for the rest of his career, as he is very happy at the club.

He was quoted on the Sky Sports website: “I can finish with Chelsea. No problem at all. I am very happy with this club, with the team, my family is happy here.

“So If I don’t go to Spain, it is not a problem. I love the fans – I think the fans love me! What happens in the future, I will be happy, so that’s it.”

Could Hazard really stay at Chelsea? Here is what we think.

Hazard has started the new season in terrific form and is showing the kind of potential that makes him an absolute superstar, so if Chelsea can offer him the kind of deal that he wants and then also convince him that he could win the Ballon D’or and the Champions League with Chelsea, then yes he could absolutely stay at the club.

However, if Chelsea don’t continue their great start and don’t fall off like they did last season, Hazard has no reason to leave as he would still be playing at the very top of the game and challenging for all the major trophies.

Plus it would be a huge shame to see him leave Chelsea and head over to La Liga, he is an absolute superstar for the English game.
