Chelsea eyeing Niguez move, Giroud hints at shock transfer deal, Haaland for £172m, Courtois issues Hazard message in Chelsea roundup…

Chelsea are said to be ‘eyeing a move’ for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez with Tuchel looking to boost his options in midfield before the new season.

Having just won that Champions League title, Tuchel knows that he will still need to delve into that transfer kitty in the summer window and add a few fresh faces to the squad.

Manchester City will be looking to revamp the squad, Liverpool have already started spending their money and Manchester United will also look to spend some cash, meaning that next season will be a serious battle.

And that has led to reports in the media that Tuchel wants to add another midfielder to the squad, with reports from Spain now claiming that they are ready to make a move for the impressive Niguez.

Having also been linked to Liverpool, the Spain international won the title under Diego Simeone this season and could now eye a fresh challenge in England, with the Premier League seen as the best in world football

Spanish outlet AS report that PSG are also in the race for his signature, despite the 26-year-old being under contract until the summer of 2026 in Madrid

There are lots of players being linked with Chelsea ahead of that transfer window, but Niguez is a special kind of player that would be a fantastic addition to the Premier League.

He would cost around £100 million to acquire, but if Tuchel wanted to send a statement to the rest of the Premier League, the signing of Niguez would really do that

Olivier Giroud has admitted that he could still leave Chelsea this summer, despite signing a new contract with the club.

The France international, who finished as the Blues’ top scorer in Europe, was linked with a move to AC Milan after accepting a bit-part role behind Timo Werner and Kai Havertz under Thomas Tuchel.

There was not a Chelsea fan out there that did not believe he would stay at the club, and all indications suggested that he was ready to leave Stamford Bridge and seeks a fresh challenge in the Italian League.

Yet the former Arsenal striker has committed his immediate future to the Blues, having signed a one-year contract extension, which has shocked many in the media that firmly believed that he would be leaving the club in the very near future.

But in another transfer twist, the French world cup winning striker has hinted that he could still leave the Bridge during the summer transfer window, despite signing that recent deal with the club.

He told the RTL YouTube channel: “Ibrahimovic wants me at AC Milan? It’s always a pleasure to hear Zlatan say this kind of things, I’ll take it as an extra motivation.

“My future? I don’t want to talk about it, Milan is certainly an option among other ones.”

With all the news that Chelsea are seeking a new striker, it would not be a massive shock to see the Frenchman leave the club over the next few months. And giving him that contract would mean that they could get a few million for the hitman.

Thibaut Courtois has insisted that Eden Hazard will “100 per cent” remain at Real Madrid next season, with constant rumours linking him with Chelsea.

Hazard has not had the best time of it over at Madrid since he decided to leave the Bridge and make that mega money move to the Bernabeu, and has constantly been plagued by injuries.

Hazard has been limited to just 43 games across all competitions with Real, contributing a modest tally of five goals and eight assists, and that has led to many reports suggesting that he is very keen on the idea of making that move back to Chelsea.

But amid talk Madrid could look to cut their losses, Hazard’s team-mate for club and country has backed him to remain at the Bernabeu.

“I’m 100% sure he’s staying. He doesn’t want to move. Only the Madrid press writes about the desire to leave,” Courtois said in an interview with Le Soir.

“He wants to continue, play free of injuries and win titles,” the Belgium goalkeeper continued.

“At Real Madrid there is criticism all the time and for everyone. Gareth Bale was criticized, but he won the Champions League and scored a double in the final in Kyiv.

“We all know that in Madrid there is pressure and criticism from the press and the fans. But Eden can handle that. I know him well enough to say it. He can still change everything.

“He still wants to be an important player for Madrid and win titles.”

Hazard should stay at Madrid and prove that he does have the ability to be a superstar there because at the end of the day, he is still one of the clubs most dangerous players.

Chelsea have been told that they will need to pay £172 million to acquire the services of Erling Haaland in the transfer window.

Haaland has become one of the most talked about players in world football right now and is being linked with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

It has been claimed on many occasions over the past few seasons that he will leave Dortmund at the end of the season and join one of the big clubs mentioned, if they are prepared to meet his £120 million asking price.

However, that price has gone up after the striker had another amazing season and According to AS, the German giants have slapped a £172million (€200m) price tag on their talismanic forward.

But the reports suggest Should Haaland stay for the upcoming season, a release clause a little under £70m will activate next summer.

amid all the speculation, Haaland has vowed to respect Borussia Dortmund’s wishes when it comes to any decision on his future, and he says he sees no reason to break that agreement after helping his current club secure Champions League qualification.

Haaland has told Viaplay on the speculation surrounding his future: “Borussia Dortmund say I’m 100 per cent staying this summer?

“I have a contract for a couple of years, so I am respectful towards my contract.

“A Champions League spot secured was so important to me, I want to play Champions League football. And I’ve big dreams.

“I just won my first major trophy and it was a great feeling. So I want to win more trophies.”

There has been so much speculation about where the lad will end up in the coming widow, and the whole world is eager to see just who pays that big money. But from a selfish point of view we are hoping that he comes to the Premier League.
