Chelsea told target ‘will reach Lewandowski levels’, Chelsea determined to complete £90m deal, £80m winger opens door to Chelsea move and Zidane addresses Hazard rumours

Haaland to reach Lewandowski levels, Chelsea determined sign Kane, Sancho opens door to deal, Zidane addresses Hazard rumours in Chelsea roundup…

Nuri Sahin has tipped Erling Haaland to reach the levels of Bayern Munich icon Robert Lewandowski.

Haaland is one of the most talked about players in world football right now after becoming a dominant source of goals over at Dortmund, but there has been alot of speculation that clubs are circling for his services.

Chelsea are linked along with Manchester United, Manchester City, Barcelona, Juventus and Real Madrid, who are all reportedly ready to pay his massive £150 million asking price in the summer window.

And amid the speculation, Sahin, who played alongside another great Dortmund striker in Lewandowski, watching in awe as the Poland star established himself as one of the world’s best, says the signs are that Haaland has what it takes to reach a similar kind of level in the future.

He said: “He can get there. But the thing is not to get there, but to stay there. This is what Lewandowski has done.

“Let’s speak about the last 10 years; there was [Luis] Suarez, [Sergio] Aguero, Harry Kane, Lewy and [Karim] Benzema, and they stayed at that level.

“Haaland can make it, for sure. He has huge potential, and what I heard from Dortmund is that he is training really well, that he’s very professional.

“That mentality is key. People at Dortmund say they never saw a guy as professional since Lewandowski. I don’t know Haaland, but I saw Lewy, and every day you could see in his eyes that this guy wants to win everything.

“If Haaland has that, then he can absolutely make it.”

The world is watching to see just what happens with Haaland because there is not much doubt that he will leave the German outfit, its just a case of what club he wants to join.

Zinedine Zidane has reacted to talk of Eden Hazard being allowed to leave Real Madrid with a return to Chelsea mooted.

Hazard was a superstar for Chelsea during his stay with the club and many fans were sad to see him leave the club a few years ago when he sealed his dream move to Madrid in a deal worth £134 million.

However, injuries and poor performances has meant that he has not had the best of time at Madrid and there is a feeling that he will be allowed to leave the club in the summer, especially after his actions in the Champions League semi-finals against Chelsea.

Hazard was caught on camera joking with Chelsea stars at the end of a continental clash that saw the Blues edge out Real 2-0 on the night to reach the Champions League final.

Asked about the transfer talk surrounding Hazard, Zidane has told reporters: “All the players have their hearts in the club but for now it hasn’t been possible to see the Eden Hazard we want to see.

“But I believe he is going to get there. It’s a difficult moment with everything that’s happened but he has a contract and what he wants is to succeed here.”

Roundup…

There was no doubt that Hazard was one of the very best players in the Premier League when he was at Chelsea and many people cannot figure out why he has been such a flop at the Bernabeu.

But at the end of the day, it would be a shock to see him make a move back to Chelsea if he did decide to leave the club, his next move will probably be PSG.

Chelsea target Jadon Sancho admits he cannot say for certain what the future holds for him ahead of the summer window.

Regarded as one of the finest talents in world football, Sancho has developed into a class act over in the Bundesliga over the past few seasons and he is now a player that is tipped to become one of the best in world football.

Sancho has long been a top transfer priority for the Blues, but Dortmund have been equally stubborn in holding on to one of their top young stars. Yet there are reports in the media which have claimed that Dortmund would allow him to leave in the summer for £78 million.

And amid all the speculation that Chelsea will try and make a move for Sancho in the summer window, he has now come out and opened the door to a possible deal by admitting that he does not know where his future is.

“I don’t know about my future,” the 21-year-old told ESPN on Saturday after netting twice in his side’s 3-2 defeat of RB Leipzig.

“I am very happy here in Dortmund at the moment. I love the club, the fans and the team.

“They gave me my first professional start. The fans motivate and push me to the limit.”

Sancho is a player that Chelsea like very much and they will surely be a club that make an official move for the man should he come onto that transfer market in the summer. So with the season coming to a close, it will be interesting to see where Sancho goes.

We would love to see him in the Premier League guys.

Chelsea are determined to win the race for Tottenham striker Harry Kane in the summer transfer window.

Spurs have their most prized asset tied to a contract through to the summer of 2024 and that is helping to keep his asking price up, with Daniel Levy and Co under no pressure to sell.

But as he enters the prime years of his career, there has been alot of speculation that he may force a move away at the end of the season in a bid to fulfil his dream of adding some silverware to that cabinet

That has led to reports in the media that Chelsea will be interested in a transfer deal, as Thomas Tuchel knows that he needs to add a world class striker to the attack that will be able to net 30-goals a season.

And reports have claimed Chelsea are determined to win the race for Tottenham striker Harry Kane – according to Football Insider.

The news come after Kane claimed he is convinced that major trophies “will come” for him: “I’ve done so many things in the game but there’s still so many things in my head that I want to achieve.

“I spoke openly about [winning silverware]. That’s the reason why I play the game, that’s why I became a footballer – to win and have those experiences with my team-mates, lifting trophies and winning the biggest games.

“It hasn’t happened so far but I feel I’ve got plenty of time in my locker. I’m just looking forward and I’m sure they will come.”

It is a massive decision from Kane and many Spurs fans will be hoping that he stays, but they will surely understand if he decides to leave right?
