Hazard has big Chelsea warning and Courtois sends dig at Sarri’s men

Chelsea Star Eden Hazard has issued a warning to the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham.

After months of speculation regarding his future and rumours about where he would be playing football this season, Hazard has helped Chelsea to four straight Premier league, scoring in the last two games.

It is a far cry from the side that finished so far behind City last season way down in fifth position and puts them in a solid position to challenge for the Premier league title.

And Hazard has Chelsea’s rivals by stating the club want to be Champions.

He was quoted on the metro website: ‘Of course, in the end we want to compete for the first three places.

‘We want to be champions at the end although we know it will be hard because Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham are very strong. So we will see at the end, but we want to be at the top.

‘We can improve [on the Bournemouth game], of course. We didn’t concede a goal – that’s a good point. We scored two, maybe we should have scored more – like always.

‘I think we can move the ball quicker – in the first we were a bit slower. We can improve. We have the confidence.

‘We have the international break now. We can rest a bit some players. We have a lot of hard games when we get back.’

Meanwhile former Chelsea star Thibaut Courtois has claimed the standard at Real Madrid is far better at the Bernabeu.

Courtois made the late move to Madrid during the transfer window after months of rumours and was immediately replaced by 23-year old Kepa.

Chelsea fans were angry at the manner of Courtois’ exit and the Belgian’s done little to help relations by claiming the standard in Madrid is higher than it was in London.

‘In training, you see that the level at Real Madrid is high,’ said Courtois.

‘I am now experiencing on a daily basis that Ramos is the best centre-back in the world. The level at Real Madrid is higher than at Chelsea.’
