11 game hard war! superstar Hazard has Champions League message to Chelsea

Eden Hazard has warned his Chelsea team-mates they need to win their remaining 11 Premier League fixtures to get back into a top four spot.

After getting smashed 6-0 by Manchester City in the League and then 2-0 by Manchester United in the FA Cup, many Blues fans had started questioning whether or not Maurizio Sarri’s men were able to keep up their challenge for a top four spot and Champions League football.

But Sarri’s side have bounced back with back-to-back Premier League wins against Fulham and Tottenham that puts the Blues in the hunt for Champions League qualification, and they are now firm favourites behind United to finish in the top four ahead of Arsenal and Tottenham.

Now Hazard says the Blues discussed taking advantage of Tottenham and Arsenal both dropping points in Saturday’s north London derby after they picked up an impressive 2-0 win against Fulham.

“We talked together in the dressing room about Arsenal-Tottenham. Both lost two points,” Hazard told Chelsea TV.

“Top four is a hard war, because we’re not only four teams, we’re six teams.

“Now we have 11 games to play till the end of the season. We’ll try to take the maximum points.”

Can Chelsea get back into a top four spot?

Sarri needs to get his tactics right and keep his starting eleven fit to have a good shot at beating off their London rivals in the final few months of the Premier League season, as they have a lot of tough games left between now and the end of the season.

But Sarri’s side have the attack to challenge even the best in the League and can get a run going, and Hazard will be a big part of that, especially since he may leave the club at the end of the season if the club do not get Champions League football.
