Arsenal open talks to complete stunning deal for £400k-a-week La Liga star

Arsenal are considering a shock move for Real Madrid star Eden Hazard, according to reports.

After developing into one of the best players in the Premier League and helping Chelsea to numerous titles during his stay in England – Real Madrid made sure that they nailed down his services way back in 2019

However, despite winning two La Liga titles and another Champions League title – the former Chelsea man has struggled to live up to the billing he was expected to carry at Santiago Bernabeu, beset by a host of injuries he has struggled to overcome.

That has led to speculation in the media that Newcastle were hoping to make him their big-time signing in the coming windows- as they look to make some statements – while there was also some interest in Chelsea.

Now – amid all the speculation once again that he could be coming back to the Premier League – Outlet Mediafoot claims that Hazard could go to Arsenal if their proposed transfer for Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhailo Mudryk doesn’t materialise amid competition from Chelsea.

Reports suggest that initial contact between Mikel Arteta’s side and representatives in the Spanish capital has been made.

Hazard’s contract expires at the end of the next season and there has supposedly been interest from MLS teams, Fenerbahce and Al-Nassr.

Hazard is a brilliantly gifted player that has flopped massively at Madrid – but would he be worth the money now for the Gunners? No he would not be.

This is a shock rumour to emerge, and we personally believe that he would be a horrible signing for Arsenal and it would be a mistake to bring him to the club.

He would cost some serious money – his wages are sky high – and for the lack of goals that he would bring – Arteta would be making a huge mistake.

Mudryk is the man that the club want and if they dont get him – they will surely try and get someone from the Premier League.
