Hazard to Hazard! £170 million man Eden urged to ignore Real Madrid and stay at Chelsea
Kyian Hazard has urged his brother Eden Hazard to reject a summer move to Real Madrid and stay with Chelsea.
It is no secret the little Belgian superstar has become the top transfer target for the Spanish giants in the last few weeks, as they seek an immediate replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo decided to end his time at the Bernabeu and seek a fresh challenge, deciding to make a £105 million move to Italian giants Juventus.
And with his departure, Madrid targeted Neymar as the ideal replacement, but the Brazilian has announced he is staying at PSG this summer and has no intention of leaving.
That has led to speculation Madrid stepped up their efforts and agreed a £170 million deal to take Hazard away from Stamford Bridge, after he pretty much confirmed he is ready to leave.
But the midfielder’s younger brother Kylian, who was signed by Chelsea last August but has not made a first-team appearance, has suggested that a move to Madrid is not the best option.
Replying to a post on Instagram which asked ‘do you think this [Madrid] would be the right move for Hazard?’, Kylian replied no, according to the Metro website.
Hazard has become an integral part of the Blues squad and is the main reason why they are exciting to watch at times, but if he has decided he wants to leave then Chelsea don’t want to have an unhappy player at the club collecting a big wage.
