Heading to the Emirates after Ukrainian announces midfielder on his way to joining Arsenal
Arsenal are poised to sign Israeli ace Manor Solomon from Shakhtar Donetsk, the latest reports have claimed
The transfer window has been open for a few days now and so far, Arsenal fans have not seen the players arrive that they had hoped, with Omar Rekik the only signing that the club have made so far this month.
But it is no secret that the Arsenal fans are hoping that Mikel Arteta gets the backing from the board to sign the type of players that would make an impact on the first-team now, with some big players linked with the club.
But You’d be forgiven for not knowing much about the 21-year-old Solomon, who is seemingly the next talent that will be making his way to the Gunners over the next few days, according to the latest reports.
Solomon joined Shakhtar in 2019 and has managed 12 goals and seven assists in 62 games for the Ukraine champions. He also has 14 senior caps for Israel, and has five goals and one assist this season, including two goals in the Champions League in home and away victories over Real Madrid.
He has also played against Inter Milan and Borussia Monchengladbach in Europe this season, and it appears his performances have caught the eye of Arsenal scouts, because according to Ukrainian journalist Artem Frankov, Shakhtar are preparing to recall midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk from his loan at Desna, in preparation for Solomon to join the Premier League team.
Look, we are all for Arsenal signing some talents that have impressed the scouts, that is what they pride themselves on, but if Arteta is to be given a fair chance to prove himself at the club, he needs players that will make an impact on the side NOW!
Solomon has impressed, but he is not ready for the Premier League
