Headline-taking stars move to Arsenal ‘a bargain deal’ Frenchman announces
Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit claims Declan Rice’s £105million move to the Emirates is a “bargain” deal.
Rice is a man that is on his way to ARSENAL after the Gunners made the decision to splash the cash and bring him to the Emirates in a deal that would break all sorts of records.
He is easily regarded as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and a man that is tipped to become one of the best in the world – but that asking price has become a source of talk in the media.
£105 million for Rice is the fee that has reportedly been agreed, that is without signing on bonuses and the players wages – so he is costing some serious money for Mikel Arteta and Edu.
However – Petit claims that Rice coming in for £105 million is a bargain.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –
Petit told SportsJoe: ‘A bargain. You can see the quality he has already at such a young age and his experience.
‘He’s got leadership qualities too and that winning mentality.
‘Leadership is something that has been missing for a lot of years at Arsenal… But I think that Declan Rice is a captain on and off the pitch.
‘The way Declan wants to play, and the way Arteta wants his team to play, I think they will fit perfectly together.’
WILL RICE BE WORTH THE MONEY?
Rice outgrew his time at West Ham – he is ready for a move like this and quite honestly – he is one of the big reasons why the Hammers stayed up and won that European trophy.
Although we believe he is worth such a massive amount of money – he will be a brilliant signing for ARSENAL.
