Boss tells Arteta if exciting Paraguay international will make move to Arsenal this January

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has revealed that he doesn’t expect to lose the likes of Arsenal target Miguel Almiron to leave this transfer window

Almiron had consistently impressed with his work-rate since his arrival from Atlanta United in January 2019 – but the attacker had struggled to deliver in the final third.

But The Paraguay international has been in scintillating form and has become one of the most exciting wingers to watch in the Premier League under the guidance of Howe.

And that has attracted interest from Premier League rivals Arsenal – According to recent reports from Fichajes,.

The report said Arsenal are keeping tabs on in-form Newcastle United winger Miguel Almirón and are ready to try and make a move this January window

Arsenal are reportedly in the market for a winger to add to their already talented attacking options – but they will need to outbid Atletico Madrid, who as per the report are favorites to land Almirón

However – it seems that any move is off as Howe has admitted that he cannot see any of his players leaving this January – He said: “There is not a huge desire in me to sell anyone this window but, and there is always a but, it depends on what’s presented to you.

“You can have an idea of keeping the group together then something comes left field that you or the club thinks is a good deal to do.

“Certainly, my intention is to develop what we have, rather than lose anybody.

“I don’t think we’re necessarily at the stage of being overloaded with numbers or overloaded with quality. That’s my intention as I sit here now.”

It would be silly to leave Newcastle right now unless an opportunity arouse that Almiron could not turn down, but we can see Arsenal reigniting their interest at the end of the season.

Almiron is a brilliant winger.
