Chelsea Decision made – exciting sensational set to make summer move!
It has been revealed that CHELSEA wonderkid Omari Hutchinson is set to sign with Championship side Ipswich Town.
Hutchinson, capped twice by Jamaica having spent time in the England youth set-up, made his first-team debut for Chelsea against Manchester City in January and has knocked up two senior appearances to date.
Hutchinson is under contract until 2025 and has impressed at U21 level for both Chelsea and Arsenal, as The Jamaica international teenager has registered eight goals and 10 assists in 25 games for Chelsea U21s.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
He will now continue his development at Ipswich following the Tractor Boys’ promotion back to the second tier from League One last term, according to reports.
GOOD DECISION FROM CHELSEA?
Look, the lad is a serious talent and there are big things expected from him over the next couple of seasons – so yes this is the idea move for him to make.
That CHELSEA squad is full of world class players that Omari will struggle to get ahead of and playing in the Championship will give him a real opportunity to play at a very good level.
He will get some valuable game time and will give the Blues scouts a real opportunity to see how he can cope making that step up in the game.
As we said – he is not quite ready to fight for his place in that Chelsea attack right now – but in 12 months time – with the right amount of game time – he may well be a big part of that Pochettino future.
