Will United sign Ten Hag?

Thomas Frank is a strong contender for the Manchester United job, should they opt to change manager following the club’s struggles under Erik ten Hag,

Erik Ten Hag came to Old Trafford as one of the best managers in the game – but he has been unable to handle the pressures of managing a club like Man United and has struggled to get the results needed.

That has led to alot of reports that he is only a few games away from getting the sack – although the Manchester United board are more likely to keep hold of the Dutchman until at least the end of the season.

United, eighth in the Premier League table, are yet to make a decision over the future of Ten Hag, who could still win the FA Cup this season, and according to a Telegraph report, Frank is in the running for the job.

Frank’s work at Brentford is understood to have impressed people inside Old Trafford and he has an existing relationship with co-owners INEOS.

The Dane has taken Brentford into the Premier League and overseen three seasons in the top flight, including a ninth-place finish.

Ten Hag has been at Man United for two seasons now and the club are going backwards – not forwards – something has to give and we firmly believe that he will be replaced by the end of the summer window.

He was backed heavily lasts summer and the players he signed should have taken the club onwards – it will be an interesting summer but there should be alot of activity coming out of Manchester.

Thomas Frank is a very good manager and is ready to test himself at a club like United that is for sure.
