In-demand attacker offers Liverpool update amid rumours of January Move

LIVERPOOL target Santiago Gimenez has offered an update on social media to the reports that he is all set for a move away from Feyenoord.

Through his first nine Eredivisie appearances of the season, the 22-year-old has scored 13 goals. In addition, he has provided three assists and caught the attentions of all the big clubs in the game.

Despite LIVERPOOL having one of the best attacks in world football, they are lacking in real depth, and with all the speculation regarding the future of Mohammed Salah, Jurgen Klopp has been looking at possible alternatives for his star man.

But amid all the speculation that the likes of Liverpool and Real Madrid want Gimenez, the impressive striker has opened up and tried to distance himself from all the speculation going into the January window.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID – 

He wrote on X: “In the last few hours, statements have come out about my future that have emerged from sources far from my environment. Given this situation, I would like to clarify that I do not have a representative and that the person in charge of my career is my father with the help of Mariel.

“It is important not to take into account claims that have not been made by them or by me. I am very grateful for the understanding and support that everyone shows me every day.

‘We have always been very open with information and know that as soon as there is any news to give, we will gladly let you know.”

Gimenez is a very impressive young attacker that could go on to become world class, he just needs to make the right career choice.

But look, if the likes of LIVERPOOL and Real Madrid do make an official offer for the man, he would find it very hard to turn down such a move that is for sure.
