RENATO VEIGA HAPPY
Left-back Renato Veiga has opened up and revealed that he is very happy he made the decision to make the move to the Premier League and join Chelsea, claiming that there is no better place.
Veiga completed his CHELSEA move from Swiss side Basel over the summer where he impressed during his single season at the club after previously joining from Sporting Lisbon.
The 20-year-old spent the majority of his boyhood career in Sporting’s youth ranks before later being loaned out to Bundesliga team Augsburg and then sold to Basel, and has really made a very good impression at Chelsea.
Renato says he couldn’t have imagined signing for Chelsea when he was that young boy daring to dream he might one day follow in his father’s footsteps, but has revealed that he is very happy with his decision to make the move to the Blues, he told the club website:
‘I’m just grateful to be honest, and trying to enjoy every bit. I’m very happy and proud to be here. It’s always a moment of pride to put the shirt on.
‘My parents told me to always try and do my best in every situation. That is exactly what I am doing now. I always want to be the best version of myself I can be. There is no better place to do it than at Chelsea. I’m just proud.
‘I want to give my best for this huge club, and win a lot of trophies. That’s what we all want. We don’t know when, if it’s today or tomorrow, but that’s our main goal and that is what we are working towards.’

Many people had doubts that Veiga wouldnt get many chances to prove himself in that CHELSEA side since his move to London, bit he has been very impressive and fully deserves his game time.
He has plenty of time to develop but looks like a very good player indeed.
KVARATSKHELIA BOOST
Per Sky Italia, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia could leave Napoli as his contract talks have stalled amid interest from from the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona and PSG.
Kvaratskhelia is a player that all the big clubs have been linked with over the past few seasons and is a man that has been heavily tipped to leave Napoli in the next few windows if his £87 million asking price is met.
CHELSEA were heavily linked with the player during the summer window, but in the end, the attacker made the decision to stay put and wait for the right club to come in and make that next step up with.
Now CHASING CLUBS have been handed a real boost according to Calciomercato as Negotiations between Napoli and star winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia have hit a standstill. The reports says that the Georgian international’s representatives are seeking a raise to €8 million per season, while Napoli remain firm at €5 million.

Napoli know that they have some of the most exciting players in Europe right now and a player that they will not want to lose in the next couple of transfer windows, he has been brilliant for the club for a while now.
The problem with going after Napoli players in that the Italian giants will not want to sell, will not be forced into selling and will not take anything less than what they are demanding, it is very difficult to agree terms with the club.
If he does decide to leave Napoli, he will have his pick of clubs to join, but it will all some down to who can offer the biggest fee, the biggest wage and the chance to win alot of silverware.
We would love to see him in the Premier League, but would not be shocked to see him make the move to PSG or the Spanish League.
