Italian giants ready to do transfer deal with West Ham for £30.5 million powerhouse

Inter could turn to WEST HAM star Gianluca Scamacca if they are unable to agree terms with Edin Dzeko over a new contract.

Scamacca signed for West Ham last summer from Sassuolo in a deal worth an initial £30.5million. After playing regularly earlier in the season, Scamacca’s progress was halted by a knee injury and he has been an unused substitute for a number of games.

So far this season Scamacca has scored seven goals in 25 appearances for West Ham across all competitions – but after the signing of Danny Ings, he may struggle to get the game time that he desires.

Reports suggest Milan are long-term admirers of the striker and could offer a route back to his homeland less than 12 months, and they could make a move for the big Italian according to Gazzetta dello Sport

That is because Dzeko is unhappy with a one-year extension and is holding out for a two-year deal.

Should West Ham sell Scamacca?

Scamacca was rated as one of the best young strikers in Seria A and it was easy to see why West Ham made their moves – he has all the attributes to be a 20-plus goal scorer in the English game.

But the fact a number of players at WEST HAM have flopped this season, their most creative have gone missing, it is easy to see why he has struggled.

If the Italian giants do actually come calling and make an offer to him to make a move back to his homeland – then he will find it very difficult to turn that opportunity down.
