Sorry Nunez but potential £130M Liverpool signing ‘is on another level’ – fans told

LIVERPOOL £100m transfer target Alexander Isak is ‘on another level’ to current Reds striker Darwin Nunez,  that is the opinion of reporter Iomie Stanley, as the Reds plot a massive £130M offer for the big striker.

Liverpool have been devastated by the news of Diogo Jota over the past few days, but that doesnt hide the fact the Reds were the most exciting and entertaining sides to watch in the Premier League last season.

Arne Slot has already improved his side this season, but it remains to be seen whether Darwin Nunez will actually stay at the club with all the rumours surrounding his future at the club, but Stanley says Isak would cause ‘massive problems’ to Liverpool’s rivals if he was to move to Anfield

Newcastle signed Isak in a club-record deal from Real Sociedad in 2022 and the Sweden international has thrived at St James’ Park, becoming one of the best forwards in the Premier League and a man that most Liverpool fans would love to be signed.

‘I said this about Alexander Isak at the start of the season and I’m not changing it, if Liverpool got him it would have been the icing on the cake,’ Stanley said

‘Darwin Nunez can put in some very good performances, but if Liverpool had Isak last season, they would have won alot more games and a few more trophies.

‘He’s a very good player and could have caused massive problems to other teams if Liverpool got him.’

Isak would be a massive signing for the club, but unless LIVERPOOL are actually prepared to pay £130 million to get a transfer deal done, this will not happen as the Toon do not want to let one of the clubs best players leave the club in the next couple of transfer windows
