PL Boss Sends Clear Transfer Message To Arsenal Over Deal For ‘Outstanding’ 14-goal star

Isak

Eddie Howe has insisted Newcastle striker and Arsenal target Alexander Isak will not be for sale during the summer.

Speculation has mounted over a summer move for the Swedish forward due to Newcastle’s need to balance the books for Profit and Sustainability Rules reasons, with ARSENAL reportedly interested in a deal.

It was no secret that the Gunners were keen on the man way before he made the move to Newcastle – and with Mikel Arteta keen to add a new striker to that attack – Isak suits the style of the club.

Isak made it 14 Premier League goals for the season after scoring two from the penalty spot in Saturday’s 4-3 comeback win over West Ham, while he also laid on a fantastic assist for Harvey Barnes’ first goal.

However – Arsenal will be in for a battle if they are really keen to get a deal done for the player – as Howe has opened up and claimed that the Swedish star will not be for sale at the end of the season.

“He’s an outstanding talent and no one connected with Newcastle would want to lose him,” said Howe.

“He was excellent on Saturday. He didn’t score in open play but his two penalties were outstanding and his general play was very good.

“His link play, his athleticism, he looked in a really good place.”

While Newcastle United might harbor hopes of retaining Alexander Isak, the realities of modern football, including financial disparities, player aspirations, agent influence, and the allure of rival clubs, particularly ARSENAL, make it a formidable challenge for the man to turn down an opportunity to move to the Emirates.
