Spaniard announces summer move to happen – Gabriel welcomes possible signing – Gunners free to sign Lyon ace

Isco admits he is leaving Madrid – Arsenal free to sign Aouar – Gabriel welcome Jesus in Arsenal news of the day….

Arsenal have officially been given the green light to try and sign Isco after he confirmed that he is leaving Real Madrid

Now we all know that Mikel Arteta is a manager that is lacking creativity in the centre of that midfield, that are struggling to create chances for the strikers, and are in need of signing a few big players in the coming transfer window

And that has led to constant speculation that Isco is back on the shopping list of the Arsenal hierarchy, having failed to sign the Spaniard on a number of occasions over the last few seasons.

It was claimed back in January that Isco is was keen to leave Madrid in the transfer window and find a team that he can be more of a regular starter in – but Madrid opted to keep hold of the Spaniard as they were worried about covering injuries etc.

However – after winning another Champions League title with the Spaniards – which takes his total trophy haul to 19 now – he has admitted that he will be leaving Madrid when the transfer window opens up

“My time at the club that has made it possible for me to fulfil all the dreams I had when I was little comes to an end,” he wrote on Instagram.

“I want to thank my teammates, coaches, coaching staff, physios, kit men, workers at Valdebebas and Santiago Bernabeu for all the work, love and support that everyone needs and that I have never lacked.

“I also want to thank the fans who welcomed me in an incredible way from the first day and who accompany this team in every corner of the world!”

Look, Isco is brilliant and would be very special for Arsenal, but can the fans really see the club forking out a ton of money for the player? They dont like to show too much ambition do they?

They always find a way to not make moves for the players they need, which is why they are not going to challenge for that title anytime soon.

This is a player that would offer some much needed top-level experience to that Gunners midfield – so even though he would need a massive wage – Arsenal would surely be fools not to make a move for the man right?

So it will be interesting to see just where he ends up guys

Arsenal tipped to sign Aouar

Arsenal have been tipped to sign Lyon star Houssem Aouar in the transfer market after the French side reportedly put him up for sale

Now we all know that Mikel Arteta will need to delve into that transfer kitty in the summer and start to sign players that will make a real difference to the side -especially as they missed out on Champions League football

And there has been alot of speculation about players that could potentially get signed, and there now seems a real chance that the club are able to sign a player that they have been after for a good amount of transfer windows.

Aouar’s contract at Lyon expires in June 2023 – but he shows no signs of penning an extension despite joining the club way back in 2009 aged 11, and the fact the 23-year-old Frenchman changed agents to IMC Stellar Sports at the beginning of this year further implies he will be packing his bags.

In 45 games this season, the midfielder has scored 8 goals and 4 assists, a decrease in his goal involvements since his 2019/20 season which notably saw an impressive Champions League campaign

Now – the SUN have claimed that Lyon have put the player on the transfer market and will allow him to leave for the likes of Arsenal if they receive the right offer

Look, there are always players linked with Arsenal way before the transfer window opens up, but Aouar is a man that Arsenal should have signed in previous windows, he really is gifted

If they do make a move, if they are able to get him for a bargain, and if they can get the best out of him, he would be a very special buy for the club

He would add a bit more quality to a midfield that has impressed for most of the season, but doesnt have too much depth to it.

Gabriel welcomes Jesus

Gabriel Magalhaes has endorsed Arsenal’s push to sign Gabriel Jesus in the next couple of weeks from Man City

There has been alot of speculation over the past few weeks that Jesus is the man that Arteta wants most in the coming transfer window to add goals to that attack of his

Eddie Nketiah is a bright young talent that adds a few goals to the side – but he is not the player to lead them back to the success they have enjoyed in the past – while Alexandre Lacazette is all set to depart the club when his contract expires

Jesus may have netted 95-goals during his time at Man City and won countless trophies – but he has never really been the main man at the Etihad and knows he will not get much game time with the arrival of Erling Haaland

Now – amid all the speculation that Arsenal are in deep talks with Jesus over a possible move – Gabriel is keen for Arsenal to complete a deal for his Brazil teammate.

‘We play in the same dressing room, but nothing is certain,’ Gabriel Magalhaes said during a press conference with Brazil’s national team on Sunday.

‘He is certainly a quality player and, if he goes to Arsenal, he will help us a lot.’

Until the transfer deal is officially announced – there will continue to be alot of speculation on the future of the Brazilian – and there will continue to be alot of interest from other clubs

Arsenal are a massive club and need a couple of signings to close the gap on Man City and Arsenal – but if Jesus cant score more than 20-goals a season in that Man City side – he will not manage it at the Gunners

He is brilliant striker – but the Arsenal board must know that he is not the answer to their issues up top? They must know that Jesus is a very good back-up striker – not the main forward
