Midfielder announces ‘I’m VERY HAPPY, very excited’ after Arsenal announce another deal!

Ismail Oulad M’Hand has signed his first professional contract with Arsenal – and is delighted with the deal.

ARSENAL have one of the most talked about academies in world football – and constantly sign up some of the best talents that the club have to offer.

And they made the decision to hand M’Hand his first big contract after he impressed last season – they announced on the club website -‘The Moroccan youth international joined the club in January 2021 from Feyenoord, just 6 months after his Brother Salah-Eddine signed for us.

‘The 18-year-old midfielder made 20 appearances for our U-18s last season, with his hard work and performances earning him a call-up and debut for Morocco’s U-20 side in May 2023.

‘Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Ismail on signing his first professional contract and we look forward to seeing his continued development.’

WHAT DID ISMAIL HAVE TO SAY – 

He said: ‘I’m very happy, very excited. I’m just proud to sign my first pro contract.

‘I like the playing style. It’s good and it suits me, so hopefully I can show more of myself.

‘I’m a box-to-box midfielder. I’m good in both boxes – defensively and attacking. I have a good shot! ‘

WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT?

The lad is definitely one for the future and although he is happy that his first big contract is signed – the hard work really starts now.

He will probably get sent out on loan to get some valuable game time – will be watched by the Arsenal scouts and if he is ready – will be given a shot in that Gunners side in the coming seasons.

If not – he will get sold and will have to make a name for himself away from the Gunners – but as we said – the hard work starts now.
