Boehly had just sacked Thomas Tuchel after a poor start to the new season – and knew that many had tipped Potter to manage one of the big clubs in the Premier League – and after the start Brighton had to the new season – believed he was the man to take the club forward.
But after a good start to life at Stamford Bridge – Potter saw his Chelsea side start to struggle before the World Cup and it has not got any better since then – as they are still struggling to score goals.
There has been a whole host of signings in the January window – so the expectation for the Englishman to be a success is very high – but Flick has been spotted at Stamford Bridge recently.
The German boss is rated very highly and is a man that Chelsea have wanted for a long – time – but writing in the Daily Briefing, his exclusive CaughtOffside column, Romano has spoken about Flick being spotted in London.
“Germany manager Hansi Flick was spotted at Stamford Bridge, so there’s inevitably been speculation about the Chelsea job,” Romano said.
“However, Flick has just committed to the Germany job until the Euros a few weeks ago and this is his full focus. I’m not aware of any conversation with Chelsea.”

Look, Potter needs time right, he cannot change everything in a few months. However, the board want success and have spent some serious money in order to get that, so if the results continue to be poor, then we can see the former Brighton boss getting the sack.
But we are not sure that Flick is the right man for the job

It is no secret that Chelsea are still in need of adding another striker to the attack – and were heavily linked with a move for Osimhen in the summer – but failed to make a move as they did not want to pay his massive £70 million asking price
However – there is no doubt that Graham Potter still wants to add to his attack in the summer transfer window and many media outlets believe that they could reignite their interest in Osimhen.

Mitrovic perfect for Chelsea-

Reporter Iomie Stanley has claimed that Aleksander Mitrovic would be the perfect signing for Chelsea and Graham Potter.
Chelsea are one of the best sides in the game – there is no doubt about that and have some world class players – but the one thing that they are missing is a world class striker.
Graham Potter is currently using Kai Havertz as his top man – and he does ok at times – but he is not a natural goal-scorer that can hold the ball up etc – and has struggled this season,
That has led to many reports in the media which has suggested that Chelsea are keen to sign a new striker at the end of te season – and Mitrovic is a man that has been linked with a shock move to Stamford Bridge
The Fulham striker has been in lethal form for the newly-promoted side this term, scoring a staggering 11 goals in 18 Premier League appearances and there is a feeling that he is ready for one of the big sides.
And if you believe the words of Iomie Stanley – he could be the perfect signing for the Blues – he told icfootballmews: “ He scores a lot of goals for Serbia, and for Fulham and is a very dangerous player.
“You have to give him service and get the ball into the box because that’s where he’s at his best, He gets across the defender, is really strong in the air, holds up the ball very well.
“The only thing about Mitrovic is that if you bring him in, you’re going to have to play in a particular way.
‘He is not the quickest of strikers and needs the ball to be played right into his feet or on his head –
“Mitrovic needs service and I think that the way Chelsea play and break with pace, it might just suit him
“Potter has all the pace and all the quality on the wings and just needs a man that can put the ball in the back of the net – Mitrovic is that man.
‘He will do what he is paid for – to score goals – and that is why he could be a great signing for Chelsea – he could be perfect.’
