Welcome to Stamford Bridge – Chelsea complete very late signing of £300k-a-week star
It has now been revealed that Manchester United star Jadon Sancho has completed his much talked about move to Chelsea after the Blues made a very late move to sign the attacker on deadline day.
Sancho is one of the players that has been talked about all summer long after his falling out with Erik Ten Hag towards the back end of last summer and the Red Devils have been trying to get rid of the player for a while now.
He has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, has been tipped for a move Arsenal and Juventus, but nobody wanted to pay his high asking price and he has had to wait until the deadline day to complete his move away from the club.
He has now joined CHELSEA from Man United and the deal includes an obligation to buy the winger.
Sancho had spent the second half of last season on loan back at former club Borussia Dortmund in Germany
Michael Owen recently gave his verdict on the attacker: “Jadon Sancho took a really risky move in many ways but almost an unavoidable one in going back to where he was to try to reignite that spark, and he’s done particularly well,” he told Prime Casino.
“I’m sure he probably would have preferred there to have been a change of manager at Old Trafford so it was a clean slate and he could come back and hopefully start again.
“I don’t know what his future holds, but he’s certainly gone away and proven that he can still cut it at the top level.”
