Jimenez offers hopes to Arsenal as Mexico striker embraces transfer talk ahead of possible transfer involving “many millions”.
Raul Jimenez continues to offer hope to suitors such as Arsenal, with the Wolves striker welcoming talk of possible transfers involving “many millions”.
Jimenez has become one of the most talked about players this season after another impressive campaign with Wolves, which he has shown his true ability and quality on that pitch on a weekly basis.
His performances this season has led to alot of speculation in the media about his next club, with the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal and Juventus have all been suggested as potential destinations for the 29-year-old who has scored 22 goals this season.
The Midlands club face a battle to keep hold of their Mexican No9 when the transfer market reopens with plenty of clubs interested, but believed that they could keep hold of the striker after putting a massive £90 million price tag on his head.
However, Jimenez is enjoying being swept along for the ride at present, with no definitive call on his future offered once again when discussing the speculation he is generating with Telemundo.
“First of all I am very happy here with the Wolves,” Jimenez said. “I am in a place where from the first moment we made an incredible connection.
“I am no stranger to all that [the rumours], every day a new team comes out, every day a new offer comes out, I do not know how many millions.
“It is good to know that they are talking about you, but what I have to do to make that happen is to continue doing my job here with the Wolves.”
Look, it will be a massive surprise in the summer to still see Jimenez at Wolves as he is surely heading to a big club during the transfer window, he is destined for a big club, but Wolves are crazy if they believe they can get £90 million for the striker.
