Brazilian star Arsenal linked with makes big transfer admission
Arsenal linked Joelinton has also said he’s happy at Newcastle and has no plans to leave the club in the near future.
Joelinton only has 15 months remaining on his old deal and would have been made available for transfer this summer if he did not agree to extend his stay at the club towards the back end of last season.
But there has still been alot of rumours in the media that the likes of Chelsea, ARSENAL and even Liverpool are ready to swoop in and offer the big man a move to a big club at some point this transfer window.
However – amid tat speculation – Joelinton has come out and told the likes of Arsenal that he has no plans on leaving Newcastle – He was quoted on the SUN: “I’m very happy here, I love the club, the city, my family is happy, I enjoy my life.
“I’m happy to continue my journey here; my hopes are high for the next season. Last season was difficult for me with the injuries but now I want to help us get back up there again.”

Newcastle may have some trouble signing the type of players that they need too in the summer window – so making sure that they keep hold of their star players is something that the board need to make sure happens.
Toon fans will be delighted with the news – but it could be interesting to see if a big club comes in with an official offer if Joelinton is as happy as he says he is – just because he may sign a new contract does not mean that he will be forced to stay.
