World Class midfielder openly suggests Chelsea talks over deal in progress

Jorginho has seemingly hinted that his agent is in talks with Chelsea about a new contract at the club

Jorginho has enjoyed a superb couple of years for club and country, starring in Chelsea’s Champions League win and Italy’s European Championships triumph in 2021, with his performances earning him a Ballon d’Or nomination.

However, there has been alot of speculation that he could depart the club at the end of the season, and a move back to Italy has been mooted for the midfielder, meaning that Graham Potter would need an immediate replacement.

Juventus would be the most likely destination for the player if he did feel like leaving the club – but it is believed that he will stay at the club and Chelea have even offered him a wage of £120,000-a-week

And when asked about his future at Chelsea, Jorginho gave a very cryptic reply to the reporters, which suggested that talks are currently in progress over a possible new deal at the club

“Graham Potter is creating a very good relationship with all of us, he’s working hard. New deal talks? It’s normal to speak… next question?” Jorginho replied to a Sky Sports reporter.
