Since coming to Stamford Bridge several seasons ago – Jorginho has been a big part of that Chelsea squad and is a man that many managers like to have in their squads.
He has scored 29 goals with nine assists in 207 games, and although they are not the most impressive of numbers, it is his work in the middle of the park that makes him such an effective player to have
However – there has been alot of speculation about his future and whether or not he will be at the club in the coming transfer windows – with a move back to Italian football mooted.
However – it seems that he is about to sign a new contract if you believe the words of Romano – who has tweeted that an offer has been put on the table that Jorginho’s agent is keen to discuss
“Of course I do (want to stay), I love Chelsea,” Jorginho told talkSPORT.
“But this is a thing I’m not going to think about now. I need to think about winning games. Otherwise, it’s a problem.
“I’ll focus game-by-game and then well see … My mind is on Chelsea now and trying to win as many games as possible.”

Chelsea fans love Jorginho for his commitment to the side – but many also feel that he does not provide enough goals and assists for the amount of game time that he usually gets
