Chelsea OFFICIALLY announce deal confirming attacking star has signed up!
Defender Joseph Wheeler-Henry has signed his first professional contract with CHELSEA, the Blues have announced on the club website this week.
‘As he navigates his first full season at Under-18s level, Wheeler-Henry has established himself in Hassan Sulaiman’s squad and featured across our 2024/25 Under-17 and Under-18 Premier League Cup campaigns, as well as league fixtures.
‘He also came on as a substitute in Chelsea’s first FA Youth Cup fixture of the season, helping secure a 3-2 victory over Leicester City.

The lad is a serious talent and fans are delighted to see that he has agreed to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge, he fully deserves it and now hopefully he will push on to challenge for a regular place in that first starting eleven.
However – the problem that he has is that the club have so many quality players at the club already that it will take some time for him to get the chances he needs to prove himself.
And with CHELSEA making signings pretty much every window, well hopefully he does not get lost in the system guys as the club have seen so many talents in previous seasons have to leave the club because they have not been given the chances to prove themselves.
But as we said, the lad is very talented and he is must be very happy right now that he has signed that big contract.
