Director opens up on possible signing that Man United have given green light to happen
Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli opens up on the possibility of the Italian giants signing Manchester United outcast Joshua Zirkzee in January transfer window as the attacker looks set to depart the Red Devils next month.
Manchester United have spent more than £600 million ($785m) on players since Ten Hag became manager in the summer of 2022 – and yet they seem to be going backwards after having another poor start to the new season.
Zirkzee is a player that Man United have big hopes for after splashing some serious money on the lad just over the summer – but he has struggled to make that big impact and has not been able to score the amount of goals that Man United boss Rubern Amorim needs right now
And Just over four months after joining the 20-time English champions, Zirkzee is already being linked to a possible exit due to his inability to reach his best form. Per a recent report on Tuttosport Zirkzee could head back to Italy after just six months at Old Trafford.
Now, Giuntoli has opened up on the possibility of the Italian giants signing the attacker from Man United – Speaking to Sky Sports, Giuntoli said: “Zirkzee in January? We are waiting for Milik.
‘I can just say that Zirkzee is a very good player but he’s under contract at Man United. I can’t add more now, we’re focusing on completely different things now.”

Zirkzee was signed by United after establishing himself in the game and many believed that he could have a big impact at the Manchester giants, but he has been a massive flop.
It could be because alot of those Manchester United, players have been poor this season, or it may be because he is not good enough for the Premier League. But if United have to sell before signing Gyokeres, they they should do it.
