Man United free to sign giant – Ten Hag told defender will cost £30M – Antony sends message to Ten Hag

Man United free to sign Kalajdzic – Antony sends Ten Hag message – Timber will cost £30M in Man United news of the day….

Man United will reportedly have to pay £30million to bring Jurrien Timber to Old Trafford this summer.

Now that Erik Ten Hag has been confirmed as the man that will lead the club into a new era, it will mean that the Dutchman could look to sign a number of players in a summer revamp.

This Man United squad has defensive issues, cannot score the goals the club need and will need to replace both Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic, as they will be leaving the club for nothing in the transfer window.

Erik ten Hag is reportedly keen to sign Ajax defender as he will want to improve that back-line – and according to transfers journalist Ekrem Konur, Man United will have to pay £30 million to get a transfer deal done

The news comes after Florian Plettenberg, a correspondent for Bayern Munich – opened up and claimed that he could be heading for the Premier League giants – Plettenberg said: “Bayern inquired about him but it is said the 20 year-old could join Ten Hag at Manchester United.

“Talks with his management have taken place and Manchester United is seriously interested”

Now that Ten Hag is the new boss, he will know what players can make an impact on the side and what players cannot

He knows Timber better than anyone, so if he feels that the defender is ready to test himself in the Premier League, then he will make a move

It will be interesting to see if United make a move, as Timber certainly has the ability to make that next step up to one of the big clubs – and to be honest £30 million is not alot of money to pay for a proven Champions League player is it?

United free to sign Kalajdzic

Man United transfer target striker Sasa Kalajdzic is set to leave Stuttgart this summer – the German club have announced

It is no secret that Erik Ten Hag is a boss that wants to add a striker to the squad the coming transfer window and has been linked with some superstar players.

There has been alot of speculation about the futures of Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford in recent weeks – with reports that they could still leave the club if they are not guaranteed the game time they desire

The likes of Harry Kane, Lautaro Martinez and Robert Lewandowski are the three strikers that are seemingly wanted by the Red Devils, but the fact they would cost some serious money has meant that Ten Hag is also looking at cheaper alternatives, leading to reports that they are keen on Kalajdzic.

The highly-rated frontman, who stands at 6ft 7 has been impressing over the past few seasons and has also caught the attentions of rivals Chelsea – who are also in the market for a new forward when the transfer window opens up.

Now – the Red Devils have been given a real chance to sign the powerhouse after Stuttgart’s chief Sven Mislintat opened up and confirmed that the giants is all set to depart the club at the end of the season.

Hsaid to Bild about the attacker: “As things stand, we have to generate another significant transfer surplus in this summer of transfers.

“So nothing other than the renewed objective of staying in the league is realistic for me. Especially if you take into account the quality of the already determined promoted teams.

“It would be outstanding if we can keep Sasa as a player and guy in our team. However, in my estimation, this is not very likely.”

Kalajdzic is a giant of a striker and if United wanted to play the long-ball game – he would be perfect

But he does not suit the style of Ten Hag and we would be very surprised to see him at Man United next season

But we would not be shocked to see him in the Premier League with a lower placed club
